For example, we never say that I believe in water, I believe in sunlight, because we know them by experience, not by any scriptures. We don't know about god so simply we believe because nobody wants to seek. Belief became an easy tool to avoid seeking. If you will not believe God, then your mind will say, go and seek then you have to work on that aspect but you have to work on other things such as money, job, entertainment etc so it's better to say I believe in god and keep this aside.

Agree that both Hinduism and Buddhism practice meditation and mindfulness. But Buddhism is not from Hinduism or similar in core. There is no god or gods at the top in Buddhism. Lord Buddha was a human who defeated the life and death cycle and showed others how to do it through meditation and a lot other things.

Hindus are pluralistic by nature means we don't seek one book, one god or one anything. We have multiple ways and we ourself find multiple ways for the same answer. Like: Ramanujan find its way to seek god through maths and became the man who knew infinity. He used to say that god help him give answers and formula doesn't mean anything to him until it expresses the thought of god. Research about him, a great mathematics.

Many people describe God as pure energy that can be transformed. But for me, a more accurate way to view this is that everything-matter, energy, and beyond-are all one true soul, and this soul represents itself in many forms, yet remains one. Think of it as a screen (the universe) with countless individual pixels (consciousness), each emitting a different light to form the same picture. They are individual, yet part of the same screen.
I think it's fair enough. We can all have our views but really think about it - we will never truly know so not too sure if at the end of the day the debate of what the source/ universe. etc is - is even productive - it can be depending on what you are looking for but the bottom line is we will never truly know and to me its indisputable that there is higher intelligence is a play = believing.
But currently scientists believe that it is possible that there is multiverse. So your's one unverse theory failed. Scientists believe that this universe is a part of multiverse. Hello Zuzanna, greetings from Bharat, Mumbai, came across your channel while browsing YT on a lazy Sunday eve, Sadhguru is a very interesting person, I listen to him on and off, I am not a scholar on this subject but yes, I practice Hinduism, I am not the person who follows it the way it has to be to the core, but I will definitely stick to it, as I am ageing and I started to understand it better and began to love it even more. I really don’t want to bash any religion, and I don’t really know if there is a God or if there is no God, but one thing for sure is that If people really believe in God, then there will be lesser chaos, violence, Crime and people will be more sympathetic to others, will not start wars for sure. Conscience will not allow if the preachings of that God and his messengers is as it should be. “To the well-being of Humanity and all the living beings”. Perhaps the people who follow Abrahamic religion can read their history and see how their religion evolved and how it was spread. Even today in India we see missionaries from the Christian faith lure Hindus in to conversion by selling lies. Same goes with the Muslims and what they did here is all well documented. Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians and a few others all went thru horrible things during various times in the past and are still facing atrocities across the world. Hence, I would wish the people from the western societies/middle East delve into their history and see how God that they believe in had influenced their communities to the acts that they executed all over the world. What I read is that there is a clear distinct difference between the creator and the creation in Christianity. If you will not believe God, then your mind will say, go and seek then you have to work on that aspect but you have to work on other things such as money, job, entertainment etc so it's better to say I believe in god and keep this aside.

Many people describe God as pure energy that can be transformed.
But for me, a more accurate way to view this is that everything-matter, energy, and beyond-are all one true soul, and this soul represents itself in many forms, yet remains one.
Think of it as a screen (the universe) with countless individual pixels (consciousness), each emitting a different light to form the same picture. They are individual, yet part of the same screen.
I think it's fair enough. We can all have our views but really think about it - we will never truly know so not too sure if at the end of the day the debate of what the source/ universe. etc is - is even productive - it can be depending on what you are looking for but the bottom line is we will never truly know and to me its indisputable that there is higher intelligence is a play = believing.
But currently scientists believe that it is possible that there is multiverse. So your's one unverse theory failed. Scientists believe that this universe is a part of multiverse. So from all of this we don't know anything we are just follow someone's believe. So how can we believe that this believe system is true. I personally think and what I learn from my religion is it should be on basis on humanity. Human should do humane thing to all things to all living beings.

In Hindiuisam, in Vedas written that supreme god is parmatma(param mean supreme,aatma means souls or energy) which nobody knows them.
In Hindu philosophy, particularly in the Vedic and Vedantic traditions, the relationship between the **soul (Atman)** and the **body (Sharira)** is fundamental to understanding the nature of existence, life, and liberation (moksha). This relationship can be explained through several key ideas that are discussed in the Vedas, Upanishads, and other spiritual texts.

- **Atman** is the **individual soul** or the true self in Hindu thought. It is eternal, unchanging, and divine. The Atman is not limited by the physical body, mind, or senses, but is pure consciousness.
- The **Atman** is often considered a manifestation or spark of the **Paramatma** (Supreme Soul or Universal Spirit). While bodies are numerous and varied, the Atman in each being is the same in essence.
- **Vedanta** teaches that Atman is beyond physical existence and is not affected by birth, death, or any physical changes that happen to the body.
### 2. **Body (Sharira) as a Temporary Vessel**
- The body, called **Sharira** in Sanskrit, is viewed as a temporary and perishable vehicle for the soul. It is made up of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, and ether) and is subject to change, aging, and death.
- The **body is a tool** or instrument that the soul uses to interact with the material world, experience life, and accumulate karma through actions.
- The **Upanishads** describe the body as a "sheath" (kosha) that covers the soul. There are multiple layers (koshas) of the self, from the physical body to the mental, emotional, and spiritual layers. However, the Atman remains beyond all these layers.
### 3. **Soul’s Temporary Association with the Body**
- According to the Vedas and Upanishads, the **Atman is distinct from the body**. While the body is born, lives, and dies, the soul is eternal and merely **resides in the body** during a particular lifetime. Upon the death of the body, the Atman leaves it and moves on, either to be reborn in a new body or to attain liberation (moksha), depending on its karma.
- This relationship is compared to **clothing**: just as a person changes clothes, the soul discards old bodies and takes on new ones. This idea is explicitly mentioned in the **Bhagavad Gita**, where Lord Krishna says, “As a person sheds worn-out garments and wears new ones, similarly, the soul discards worn-out bodies and enters new ones” (Bhagavad Gita 2.22).
### 4. **Karma and the Soul-Body Relationship**
- The soul’s association with the body is governed by **karma**-the cumulative results of one’s actions in past lives. The body that a soul occupies in each birth is a result of its previous actions, desires, and spiritual development.
- **Karma binds the soul to the cycle of birth and death (samsara)**, meaning that the soul continuously takes on new bodies until it has exhausted its karma and achieved spiritual liberation.
### 5. **Soul and the Body in the Process of Liberation (Moksha)**
- The ultimate goal of the soul, according to Vedantic philosophy, is to **realize its true nature** and its oneness with Brahman (the ultimate reality). This realization is called **moksha** or liberation.
- When the soul achieves moksha, it is freed from the cycle of birth and death and no longer needs to take on a body. At this stage, the Atman merges with Brahman, or remains in a state of eternal bliss, free from any physical form.
- **Ignorance (avidya)** is what causes the soul to falsely identify with the body, mind, and ego. Spiritual knowledge (jnana) and practices like meditation, devotion (bhakti), and selfless action (karma yoga) help the soul recognize its true, infinite nature beyond the body.
### 6. **The Role of the Mind and Ego in the Soul-Body Relationship**
- The soul interacts with the body through the **mind (manas)**, **intellect (buddhi)**, and **ego (ahamkara)**, which together form part of the subtle body (sukshma sharira). These mental faculties help the soul perceive the world, make decisions, and perform actions.
- However, the soul itself is not these faculties. The mind and ego create the illusion of individuality and separateness from the divine. Through spiritual practices, one can transcend the ego and realize that the Atman is the same as the Supreme Soul (Paramatma).
### Summary of the Soul-Body Relationship:
1. **Atman (Soul)**: The eternal, unchanging, and divine essence of a being. It is beyond the body, mind, and senses.
2. **Body (Sharira)**: A temporary, perishable vessel that the soul inhabits during a lifetime. It is subject to birth, aging, and death.
3. **Karma**: Governs the soul’s attachment to a body and its experiences. Actions in previous lives determine the nature of the current body and life circumstances.
4. **Cycle of Rebirth**: The soul takes on new bodies after the death of the old one due to karma, continuing until it achieves liberation (moksha).

Hello Zuzanna, greetings from Bharat, Mumbai, came across your channel while browsing YT on a lazy Sunday eve, Sadhguru is a very interesting person, I listen to him on and off,
I am not a scholar on this subject but yes, I practice Hinduism, I am not the person who follows it the way it has to be to the core, but I will definitely stick to it, as I am ageing and I started to understand it better and began to love it even more. I really don’t want to bash any religion, and I don’t really know if there is a God or if there is no God, but one thing for sure is that If people really believe in God, then there will be lesser chaos, violence, Crime and people will be more sympathetic to others, will not start wars for sure. Conscience will not allow if the preachings of that God and his messengers is as it should be. “To the well-being of Humanity and all the living beings”.
Perhaps the people who follow Abrahamic religion can read their history and see how their religion evolved and how it was spread. Even today in India we see missionaries from the Christian faith lure Hindus in to conversion by selling lies. Same goes with the Muslims and what they did here is all well documented.
Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians and a few others all went thru horrible things during various times in the past and are still facing atrocities across the world. Hence, I would wish the people from the western societies/middle East delve into their history and see how God that they believe in had influenced their communities to the acts that they executed all over the world.
Now whether there is God I am not sure, But the world would have been so much better without people forcing to get people into believing that their God is better than the other and killing them/ostracizing them if the other disagrees.

What I read is that there is a clear distinct difference between the creator and the creation in Christianity.
