When I see a KS coming I just accept my fate and keep launching at the other guys still out there till the KS takes me out. But those are usually used for retaliation to fight fire with fire

And yet you can still have a lot if not most of your health depleted upon spawning into battle unless you instantly dash with killshot. This has happened to me loads and so there's an exploit going on. Your choice of mech shouldn't be forced like this. So much for warnings.
I loved the video but I thought of another artillery weapon splinter fires 1 boulder in the air if you get hit you will have DOT (DOT stands for damage over time) hope you add it!
No they do actully use it but only Guardian and arachnos But these are rare chances, like when you have a lower squad power like 1k-1,6k or D5s and D2s As your squad power increases the less they appear. My 2nd hanger sp is around 1.6k and I have definitely seen rocket mortar bots but they only use RM8
A weapon for those who is too scared to fight hand to hand. Imo, you don't need to have a lot of skills to use motars. Just let you bots to detect the enemies and then shoot your motars. And repeat the process until the end of the timer. A REAL skillful act.. And for the developers. You guys are intentionally made these weapons op by not making enough covers in the maps. For how the heck a slow tank would be able to get away in time before the motars hit? Not to mention, your 'motars notification' is still broken.
Still broken, and for crying out loud REMOVE THE MORTAR RADIUS IMPLANT! It makes it so mortars are impossible to dodge, sometimes even with killshot or surge 🙄
It's just a game, so nothing to be "scared" of.....but it is frustrating not to be able to get out of spawn, because someone wants to sit back and button push. RMs are for skilless trash

Just wanted to complain about the feature of AI, they make the players their first-to-takedown target and they don’t need time for locking on targets. Imagine you are in a low health situation, there is a low health AI enemy infront of you, your AI teammate is attacking it so you feel like: meh that guy can take it down… but then, it just looks at you and instantly fires. Pretty annoying I’d say…
The instant fire feature really kicks in when the AIs are using javelin racks, it’s like you started locking on it first and in most case you can kill it since you fire first, but nope the AI just fires it instantly
Something needs to be done about the entire clans of "rocket mortar punks" in tournament with a 5-mech mortar Salvo at the start of matches. I don't bother playing some maps anymore because of it. It makes it impossible to even get out of the starting area before all mechs are gone
@@graciezhao6477 how these people hate RMs is how I feel about DLs, if we gunna nerf the RMs then we need to do something about the splash damage of DLs, don't even need to hit the target, just shoot a wall or roof or really anything around them and you'll kill them, can't even hide behind cover without getting wrecked by them especially the 12 and 16
@@Superman-pf6uo Your opinion is reasonable, I'll admit the splash damage on my double 12 disk launchers on my Ares are quite formidable, but not invincible. Just freeze or sniper a disk launcher user is my best recommendation.
Another weapons spotlight showing the devs don’t know what the hell they’re talking about and probably don’t play the game. The flight time of the rockets has been a lot less of a hindrance to rocket mortars users since the radius implants, more rocket mortars users now are camping at the far back of the map because they don’t need to take the risk and depend on the flight time. Secondly, people make up for the minimum radius weakness with a fast mech and/or implants and can just stick by a teammate with stun or stasis or system crash. Most maps don’t have a lot of roofs. This was an observation made before pilots. If you wanted to escape RM damage, you probably went up against a wall for the raised structure next to you to hopefully avoid the damage. Half those walls and roofs don’t work anymore. The doorways on two arches don’t work. The walls of tunnel of fate don’t work, you are forced through the tunnel now. The lower level raised platforms on hanging gardens that aren’t in the middle don’t even block max radius RMs. The only structures that block rocket mortars are on the flanks. And partial cover does not work. I mean you said that and you showed a panther get taken to red health while also saying the partial cover blocks most of the damage. That panther can be finished off by anything after that, most of the damage is evidently not enough damage blocked or you’re just wrong. You're just pretending there's risk involved in using it when there's actually virtually none it's a big indicator you dumb PR people don't even play the game you're going to have to clarify whether you do or don't and I'm going to need you to prove it if you want to say you do play the game.
3:05 This is the part where the "close range mechs do not work well with artillery" thing gets debunked. If the enemy gets close to you, just use any close range ability to slow the mechs down, or destroy them, leaving enough time for you to get away.
My 2c on Mortars. I own them and use them from time to time in custom games mostly. The pros vs cons I feel are balanced in cpc and 5v5 however, when equipped on a Stalker, not so much... This said, mortar setups are not invincible and can be beat, In fact, it's a sport of mine to find and eliminate all forms of campers. Shaddow, KS and Lancer offer great counter options. Stay off radar, get close and pop em off. Alternately, fight fire with fire.
Hi . I think that these features should be in the game 1. When we reinstall the game it has a long procedure like tutorials etc. So there must be am option that if we need the tutorial or not . 2. Try to remove the spam in the world chat option that free acoins etc . 3. Please add the new mechs and weapons in the xp path Except this , the game is really fun to play
Yeah, we need more content in the Progress Path. If not, then the game is no longer F2P friendly, and become more of a P2W game. New mechs, weapons, and etc will make the F2Ps somewhat of a chance to survive P2W players. I dont care what the devs will reply to this request, bring something to the Progress Path, because it's not fair. "Oh well, we'll have upcoming events for new mechs and weapons, stay tuned!" they kept saying that but they never said only P2W can get it, because to get those new mechs and weapons, you'll need a lot of token events, and you usually only get one for free, and the rest will either you need to buy it with real money, or you complete missions to get it. Then again, you won't get those new contents because the percentage of getting it is always low. I thought, balance, F2P friendly, and listening to players is your job devs. Im disappointed, fix this game
Yea….l.l but that ain’t helping you get any closer. R mortar players usually hide in areas where you can’t get to. A corner of they’re spawn base, behind a little crate at the edge of the map, so simply a place where you can shoot and have cover like The one on the dock tournament map. (IDK the name). So even if you see them good luck getting to them
@@graciezhao6477 If you know where they are hiding you can send mortars back or use the disk launcher impact explosions to kill them behind cover. Staying hidden keeps them from being exposed to other players mortar attacks. True it's hard to get behind enemy lines and kill them but it would be way easier if they lit up on the map every time they launched a mortar.
@@Ramitnr well trust me I’ve tried this and you right, it works. But only a few times. Arachnos or brick house aren’t fast and have very little to no defensive abilities. So it’ll work on them. But other mechs are either fast enough to dodge to hid from your own rocket mortars.
You can apply it on Panther because when an enemy comes close to you , you can freeze that enemy with statis barier and run a little bit farer from your enemy so that the rocket mortar can take down that enemy the enemy can't move because he/she is freezed
You should make a tournament without rocket mortars so those People like me that don't like standing in 1 spot. And Actually come out of spawn. It takes a lot of talent to use rocket motors let me tell you.
I love these things!!!! I’m the guy everyone is talking about in the comments! I alternate my shots to maximize and spread out damage so I’m not hogging all the kills. It’s great for all maps except indoor (😒)
Increase the energy cost of the rocket mortar 12 to 16 and let the 10 be the new 12, that will go a long way in fixing the mortar problem. Mechs that move as fast as killshot or have stealth shouldn't be able to carry a pair of the heaviest artilery in the game, artilery should be big slow mechs only..

I see that everyone is complaining about the whole camping thing, the spam bot in the chat, the matchmaking and everything. Though, they are kind of right, let us not pretend like we don't see these in any other free online multi-player games. There is no rose without thorns. I just want to say that I really enjoy the game, I appreciate every single effort put into it. It has been one of the games that I had most fun while playing, honestly. And these videos are awesome too! I adore how enthusiastically they talk about some random weapons and big robots! Just amazing. Thank you, Plarium for this wonderful experience.
To be fair on the fact of rocket mortars being the only artillery weapon, what else would they put in that category? A nuke? Actually that would be pretty neat
No it would not. It’ll probably make the game worse. Like imagine a weapon that doesn’t need direct line of sight, have a huge splash radius, and deal insane damage. Which is basically the RM but even for OP and broken
My favorite maps with mortars are site 313 where the center is completely wide open for mortars with absolutely nowhere to hide. Hiding spots are just the two roofs on the left and right of your spawn spots and directly behind your spawn spot where there’s also a roof. Then you have the mech arena map which is absolutely wide open with literally no spot to hide from mortars. However there are some hiding spots where your enemy won’t see you and so not the mortars either. And it’s also a little easier to sneak up on the mortars with killshots. Then there’s that one 5v5 map (where there’s flanks on either side and two arches) that was shown where it’s brutal close combat fighting. It’s anther excellent map for mortars.
It should have min range much further - no chance to get close enough. And also... Nerf the radius DMG, it's just totally unplayable with two ennemies just spam that button, one shot everyone even if you run towards them. Shortly, Nerf it or ban it... This need huge rework (or nerf implants that make it even bigger problem) Personally, I like how Artillery works in Tankionline... You aim vertically and press a button for power to a shot, then it has a trajectory that depends on power of a shot and angle of it... So much of a skill to shot with them.
I like the rocket motor but with it being the only category in Artillery with some mech objectives being "use Artillery to do damage/kills". I feel like there should be another weapon like a pool splash where when it land at the enemies location, it doesn't do damage on initial impact but leaves a puddle behind that gives that chemical debuff where it slows down and damages over time for all in the puddle aoe.
They really need to rebalance them Either increase the short range that they can’t use them when enemy mechs get close Or decrease their effective range
Players only get notified that artillery is coming if you were the one targeted. There are so many instances where you get killed and won't get notified. PLEASE NERF THE WEAPON!!!
That's because a skilled pilot will wait until the last second to target an enemy. This gives the targeted player no prior warning. If you look at someone the entire time they'll know it's coming, so watch the minimal, look for a group then look up and target someone!
Just straight delete it, it just breaks the brawling rhythm of the whole game and it feels like a cheap and gratuite death. Even when you play it, it’s not even fun because all you do is wait in 5e backline for the weapon to reload over and over again
I love mortars, but hell jts complicated, how to use mortar? Pick enemy -> see map -> calculate -> more calculation -> doubt -> pray -> pray even more -> fire.
The game needs more urgent improvement then mortar spam..but yeah the aiming should be on the map not on a mech or rather have pilots & implants improve hp rather then dmg, the tanks need at least 50% more hp, clear difference between classes not just add new mechs with same hp but everything else better 🤣 You earn more then enough, rework/replace the progress path so everything is available for f2p, even opens up the market more 😉 Rebalance ai bots by removing legendary implants from them, zephyr stun range etc they can even get a buff after that, but 40m stuns PLUS 100% hitchance instantly on the player when spotted is a bit much dont you think?
I thought originally, the rocket mortars would work by firing on the map... and I was slightly disappointed when I found they targeted on the mechs themselves.
Not fire. HELL. trust me when I say. The moment you see another RM user. Target him no matter WHAT. if not he’ll ruin your match. He will just rain hellfire onto the battle field from a corner and there would be nothing you could to unless you kill him in the first few seconds.
I have a story to tell. Yesterday I was a kill shot and playing 5v5 death match and I saw a guardian with RMs and probably wasted his system crash and than I straight up dash between the enemy team and straight to and I kept dashing in to him cause I had javs 6 and killed him. I was on low health so I got killed by an MD with AUTOCANNONS!
I quit the battle immediately everytime i see my opponent uses mortars. 9 out of 10 my team always lose everytime there’s a mortar user so there’s no point wasting time battling anymore.
@@memeboi3448 in the end they will likely win doing nothing but sitting at the back of the map mashing a single button. I don’t mind losing when battling a strong opponent but It’s not enjoyable to just get destroyed by someone who you can’t even battle face to face with especially when many of the objective requires you to win or play certain amount of times. Aegis dome doesn’t really help either because the cooldown takes so long usually they launch another mortar before you’re able to put up your shield again. Aegis is such a weak mech ability wise.

They say if the enemy gets to closed your done for, but that's just not true. If you have a killshot or slingshot or reedemer, you can speed away to safely, so long as your not in a tight space.
I have an idea for a new epic artillery weapon: Lightning cannon. It charges like stasis beams, but slower than beams and faster than railgun. If fires up and then lands 2 seconds later, and it alerts people like rocket mortars. When it lands it has an aoe of 10m as base, which can be upgraded with implants. Anyone who doesn't die gets an emp effect for 1 seconds. Less damage than rm but has its own uses. And I can target stuff like Aegis dome shield and panther stasis barrier and when those things are in the aoe they are disabled, like system crash.
I'd say the Main problem about RMs that makes it unbalanced is that you can't even fight back to the Mortars. If t they're hiding at the opposite side kf the map covered by teammates, it not only becomes impossible to destroy the mortar in close combat, but even getting close enough to protect yourself from artillery fire. And the damage it deals is just nonsensical - fully maxed Juggernaut with full HP and Shield turned On gets melted in the blink of eye from two RMs 12. A game can't call itself "balanced" while it has an one-punch weapon that not only allows you to blow up the whole enemy squad by a single button press, but also keeps you totally safe from returning fire. And the best solution I can ever came up with is "self-revealing" to the enemy radars once you fire from a Rocket Mortar, so that it becomes possible to fight back using the same same method.
I typically use one mortar on my arachnos with a missle rack for defense. I dont camp (cause i mean whats the point of have a giant mech of i just sit around and blow stuff up. MOOVE around and blow stuff up) i use my RMs f0r enemies further away.missle rack is good too. And, i can strategically place myself according to where my enemies are. I dont think mortars should be removed but slightly nerfed. It should be able to take weaker mechs out but not the tuffer ones. Also i would like to see another artillery weapon out. this is a bad advice because all of the apper thin weak mechs are the fastest ones capable of hidding from most guided or missile based weapons just as they get fired, long range weapons like this should serve the role of forcing a mech out
Mortars should have stopped at 8 not 8 being the smallest. What’s next the Shotgun 10 and 12 come on nerf the hell out of the mortars or double their reload time so can only fire a few volleys a match like 30 seconds or maybe more
The game would definitely be better without mortors just imagine. No more campares hiding and bombing everyone and getting kills with absolutely zero effort. The bottom line this weapon is completely unfair. The game would be better without em hands down.

zephyr,surge and panther are best mechs for mortars because surge and zephyr can emp the enemies and run away while panther slow them down with the stasis barrier and also lock their attacks
Artillery plus javelin rack on an arachnos gives you fighting capabilities on all three levels with your turret for short range. Javelin for mid and artillery for long. One of the best combos out there
Yes, but only really something you schould do if have a 16 arachnos and RM12, then you can use the jav4 against those that survived with small amounts of hp
Add something like Cluster charge A bullet impacting the ground will scatter the damage 10,14,16 10 for one ammo 14 for two ammo 16 for three ammo and legendary type weapon Has faster travel and need time to Blow up
I don't think like that. It totally depends on game algorithm. I tested game algo and for me wherever I take rocket mortar or javelin, the game arena switched to close range meaning less chance of using that and when I don't use, the opponents have rocket mortar and what not. 😅
Well I pair them with stalker. Bit unfortunately I only have one rocket mortar 12 pod but it still does tons of damage. I remember we started a match and I activated the ability of stalker and fireing the mortars,got 3 kills at once. These weapons are good mech arena keep it up
Not to mention, 9/10, in the very unlikely scenario you make it to the RM launcher, a bot will spawn and kill you right in time!!! The "TOURNAMENTS" are literally ONLY RMs,, except one map... ONE! so arc torrents come out. That's it. You e beat mech arena. Find another game. These wretches know it's not fair. Or, don't listen, waste your time and money, get to 3k+ hangar power and see for yourself what this game becomes. After all, you've already spent to realize all the crap I just said is true. Just play like a sheep, not like person, and you'll love this for a week or 2. Then you'll try something else and realize there IS nothing else. Except the NEXT BEST THING, PLARIUM is going to rip you off in the token event for, then charge too much for and you're still gonna lose miserably to the dual RM 12. Trash

I like the rocket mortars, I use them on my arachnos. Also, how do I get to know the narrators better? Love your voices. And I get too many blueprints with the credits to pay for only one upgrade.
Panther-high energy capacity in less acoins, barier which can slow the enemy let you run or you can run due to the high speed of panther and shoot motors on the enemy which is under stasis effect
This weapon is completely depends on the maps... So if u have good knowledge about maps then u can use it in almost all maps... Tip: *But just be Patient 😅😂
Problem with me is that my Rocket Mortar 8 barely hits anything when my enemy escapes and only does massive damage at MAX RANK! So it's pretty much useless along with its 15 second cooldown in a 2 minute Deathmatch!
Well, you can just switch your Rocket Mortar 8's to Rocket Mortar 12. It has more missiles, blast radius, and more damage. Even one Rocket Mortar 12 that is paired on a mech can do much damage

Ich nutze es inzwischen auch und damit ist man fast immer unter den mvp s , daher gehört der sprengradius(basis) und/oder die flugzeit(ggf sogar die flughöge) minimal gepached! Ärgerlich für alle die aufgewertet hab und somit oft auch echtgeld ausgeben haben. Auf zurücksetzen und credits und A Münzen erstatten, dann kann jeder entscheiden ob eine neue Version des mortar Interesse weckt oder nicht... Piloten sind allerdings auch zu erstatten, da diese nur mortar genutzt werden können & keine Alternative bedienen können. Oder den piloten(fey z.b.) eine Waffenzunft dazu bauen.

Another weapons spotlight showing the devs don’t know what the hell they’re talking about and probably don’t play the game. The flight time of the rockets has been a lot less of a hindrance to rocket mortars users since the radius implants, more rocket mortars users now are camping at the far back of the map because they don’t need to take the risk and depend on the flight time. Secondly, people make up for the minimum radius weakness with a fast mech and/or implants and can just stick by a teammate with stun or stasis or system crash. Most maps don’t have a lot of roofs. This was an observation made before pilots. If you wanted to escape RM damage, you probably went up against a wall for the raised structure next to you to hopefully avoid the damage. Half those walls and roofs don’t work anymore. The doorways on two arches don’t work. The walls of tunnel of fate don’t work, you are forced through the tunnel now. The lower level raised platforms on hanging gardens that aren’t in the middle don’t even block max radius RMs. The only structures that block rocket mortars are on the flanks. And partial cover does not work. I mean you said that and you showed a panther get taken to red health while also saying the partial cover blocks most of the damage. That panther can be finished off by anything after that, most of the damage is evidently not enough damage blocked or you’re just wrong. You're just pretending there's risk involved in using it when there's actually virtually none it's a big indicator you dumb PR people don't even play the game you're going to have to clarify whether you do or don't and I'm going to need you to prove it if you want to say you do play the game.

3:05 This is the part where the "close range mechs do not work well with artillery" thing gets debunked. If the enemy gets close to you, just use any close range ability to slow the mechs down, or destroy them, leaving enough time for you to get away.
if you get away from them they can shoot their rocket motors so its best to stay close to them

My 2c on Mortars. I own them and use them from time to time in custom games mostly. The pros vs cons I feel are balanced in cpc and 5v5 however, when equipped on a Stalker, not so much... This said, mortar setups are not invincible and can be beat, In fact, it's a sport of mine to find and eliminate all forms of campers. Shaddow, KS and Lancer offer great counter options. Stay off radar, get close and pop em off. Alternately, fight fire with fire.

Yeah, we need more content in the Progress Path. If not, then the game is no longer F2P friendly, and become more of a P2W game. New mechs, weapons, and etc will make the F2Ps somewhat of a chance to survive P2W players. I dont care what the devs will reply to this request, bring something to the Progress Path, because it's not fair. "Oh well, we'll have upcoming events for new mechs and weapons, stay tuned!" they kept saying that but they never said only P2W can get it, because to get those new mechs and weapons, you'll need a lot of token events, and you usually only get one for free, and the rest will either you need to buy it with real money, or you complete missions to get it. Then again, you won't get those new contents because the percentage of getting it is always low. I thought, balance, F2P friendly, and listening to players is your job devs. Im disappointed, fix this game

Using the R mortar should make you visible on the map that will deter the cheap shot campers. Who hide in the corner and have no skill.

A corner of they’re spawn base, behind a little crate at the edge of the map, so simply a place where you can shoot and have cover like The one on the dock tournament map. (IDK the name). So even if you see them good luck getting to them
@@graciezhao6477 If you know where they are hiding you can send mortars back or use the disk launcher impact explosions to kill them behind cover. Staying hidden keeps them from being exposed to other players mortar attacks. True it's hard to get behind enemy lines and kill them but it would be way easier if they lit up on the map every time they launched a mortar.
@@Ramitnr well trust me I’ve tried this and you right, it works. But only a few times. Arachnos or brick house aren’t fast and have very little to no defensive abilities. So it’ll work on them. But other mechs are either fast enough to dodge to hid from your own rocket mortars.

You can apply it on Panther because when an enemy comes close to you , you can freeze that enemy with statis barier and run a little bit farer from your enemy so that the rocket mortar can take down that enemy the enemy can't move because he/she is freezed
You should make a tournament without rocket mortars so those People like me that don't like standing in 1 spot. And Actually come out of spawn. It takes a lot of talent to use rocket motors let me tell you.

I use rocket mortar 12 and stasis beam 16 on guardian, it's pretty good because they can't run away or can't come any closer than 45m

Increase the energy cost of the rocket mortar 12 to 16 and let the 10 be the new 12, that will go a long way in fixing the mortar problem. Mechs that move as fast as killshot or have stealth shouldn't be able to carry a pair of the heaviest artilery in the game, artilery should be big slow mechs only..
But knowing them they will buff the them to the point that those of us who actually play skillfully will leave the game

My favorite maps with mortars are site 313 where the center is completely wide open for mortars with absolutely nowhere to hide. Hiding spots are just the two roofs on the left and right of your spawn spots and directly behind your spawn spot where there’s also a roof. Then you have the mech arena map which is absolutely wide open with literally no spot to hide from mortars. However there are some hiding spots where your enemy won’t see you and so not the mortars either. And it’s also a little easier to sneak up on the mortars with killshots. Then there’s that one 5v5 map (where there’s flanks on either side and two arches) that was shown where it’s brutal close combat fighting. It’s anther excellent map for mortars.

It should have min range much further - no chance to get close enough. And also... Nerf the radius DMG, it's just totally unplayable with two ennemies just spam that button, one shot everyone even if you run towards them.

Personally, I like how Artillery works in Tankionline... You aim vertically and press a button for power to a shot, then it has a trajectory that depends on power of a shot and angle of it... So much of a skill to shot with them.

I like the rocket motor but with it being the only category in Artillery with some mech objectives being "use Artillery to do damage/kills". I feel like there should be another weapon like a pool splash where when it land at the enemies location, it doesn't do damage on initial impact but leaves a puddle behind that gives that chemical debuff where it slows down and damages over time for all in the puddle aoe.
Rocket Mortars are very nice and sweet. Pls bring the new artillery weapon faster so we can use

Players only get notified that artillery is coming if you were the one targeted. There are so many instances where you get killed and won't get notified. PLEASE NERF THE WEAPON!!!
Bruh why not just delete them. No matter how you nerf them the players will find a way to make them strong again. Either pilots or implants.
That's because a skilled pilot will wait until the last second to target an enemy. This gives the targeted player no prior warning. If you look at someone the entire time they'll know it's coming, so watch the minimal, look for a group then look up and target someone!
Just straight delete it, it just breaks the brawling rhythm of the whole game and it feels like a cheap and gratuite death. Even when you play it, it’s not even fun because all you do is wait in 5e backline for the weapon to reload over and over again

I think that's the mech weapon which was effective but now it wasn't and it can be worse, if there's a new artillery mech weapons, it would be better.
The game needs more urgent improvement then mortar spam..but yeah the aiming should be on the map not on a mech or rather have pilots & implants improve hp rather then dmg, the tanks need at least 50% more hp, clear difference between classes not just add new mechs with same hp but everything else better 🤣
You earn more then enough, rework/replace the progress path so everything is available for f2p, even opens up the market more 😉
Rebalance ai bots by removing legendary implants from them, zephyr stun range etc they can even get a buff after that, but 40m stuns PLUS 100% hitchance instantly on the player when spotted is a bit much dont you think?
I thought originally, the rocket mortars would work by firing on the map... and I was slightly disappointed when I found they targeted on the mechs themselves.
I haven't got mortars yet and that was very useful. But the sound it makes when it fires the rockets is just... FIRE!!!
Not fire. HELL. trust me when I say. The moment you see another RM user. Target him no matter WHAT. if not he’ll ruin your match. He will just rain hellfire onto the battle field from a corner and there would be nothing you could to unless you kill him in the first few seconds.
I have a story to tell. Yesterday I was a kill shot and playing 5v5 death match and I saw a guardian with RMs and probably wasted his system crash and than I straight up dash between the enemy team and straight to and I kept dashing in to him cause I had javs 6 and killed him. I was on low health so I got killed by an MD with AUTOCANNONS!

I quit the battle immediately everytime i see my opponent uses mortars. 9 out of 10 my team always lose everytime there’s a mortar user so there’s no point wasting time battling anymore.

@@memeboi3448 in the end they will likely win doing nothing but sitting at the back of the map mashing a single button. I don’t mind losing when battling a strong opponent but It’s not enjoyable to just get destroyed by someone who you can’t even battle face to face with especially when many of the objective requires you to win or play certain amount of times. Aegis dome doesn’t really help either because the cooldown takes so long usually they launch another mortar before you’re able to put up your shield again. Aegis is such a weak mech ability wise.

They say if the enemy gets to closed your done for, but that's just not true. If you have a killshot or slingshot or reedemer, you can speed away to safely, so long as your not in a tight space.
I have an idea for a new epic artillery weapon: Lightning cannon. It charges like stasis beams, but slower than beams and faster than railgun. If fires up and then lands 2 seconds later, and it alerts people like rocket mortars. When it lands it has an aoe of 10m as base, which can be upgraded with implants. Anyone who doesn't die gets an emp effect for 1 seconds. Less damage than rm but has its own uses. And I can target stuff like Aegis dome shield and panther stasis barrier and when those things are in the aoe they are disabled, like system crash.

I'd say the Main problem about RMs that makes it unbalanced is that you can't even fight back to the Mortars. If t
they're hiding at the opposite side kf the map covered by teammates, it not only becomes impossible to destroy the mortar in close combat, but even getting close enough to protect yourself from artillery fire. And the damage it deals is just nonsensical - fully maxed Juggernaut with full HP and Shield turned On gets melted in the blink of eye from two RMs 12. A game can't call itself "balanced" while it has an one-punch weapon that not only allows you to blow up the whole enemy squad by a single button press, but also keeps you totally safe from returning fire.
And the best solution I can ever came up with is "self-revealing" to the enemy radars once you fire from a Rocket Mortar, so that it becomes possible to fight back using the same same method.
I typically use one mortar on my arachnos with a missle rack for defense. I dont camp (cause i mean whats the point of have a giant mech of i just sit around and blow stuff up. MOOVE around and blow stuff up) i use my RMs f0r enemies further away.missle rack is good too. And, i can strategically place myself according to where my enemies are. I dont think mortars should be removed but slightly nerfed. It should be able to take weaker mechs out but not the tuffer ones. Also i would like to see another artillery weapon out. Keep up the good work!

this is a bad advice because all of the apper thin weak mechs are the fastest ones capable of hidding from most guided or missile based weapons just as they get fired, long range weapons like this should serve the role of forcing a mech out

Mortars should have stopped at 8 not 8 being the smallest. What’s next the Shotgun 10 and 12 come on nerf the hell out of the mortars or double their reload time so can only fire a few volleys a match like 30 seconds or maybe more

The game would definitely be better without mortors just imagine. No more campares hiding and bombing everyone and getting kills with absolutely zero effort. The bottom line this weapon is completely unfair. The game would be better without em hands down.

zephyr,surge and panther are best mechs for mortars because surge and zephyr can emp the enemies and run away while panther slow them down with the stasis barrier and also lock their attacks

Artillery plus javelin rack on an arachnos gives you fighting capabilities on all three levels with your turret for short range. Javelin for mid and artillery for long. One of the best combos out there

I don't think like that. It totally depends on game algorithm. I tested game algo and for me wherever I take rocket mortar or javelin, the game arena switched to close range meaning less chance of using that and when I don't use, the opponents have rocket mortar and what not. 😅
Well I pair them with stalker. Bit unfortunately I only have one rocket mortar 12 pod but it still does tons of damage. I remember we started a match and I activated the ability of stalker and fireing the mortars,got 3 kills at once. These weapons are good mech arena keep it up
Not to mention, 9/10, in the very unlikely scenario you make it to the RM launcher, a bot will spawn and kill you right in time!!! The "TOURNAMENTS" are literally ONLY RMs,, except one map... ONE! so arc torrents come out. That's it. You e beat mech arena. Find another game. These wretches know it's not fair. Or, don't listen, waste your time and money, get to 3k+ hangar power and see for yourself what this game becomes. After all, you've already spent to realize all the crap I just said is true. Just play like a sheep, not like person, and you'll love this for a week or 2. Then you'll try something else and realize there IS nothing else. Except the NEXT BEST THING, PLARIUM is going to rip you off in the token event for, then charge too much for and you're still gonna lose miserably to the dual RM 12. Trash

Problem with me is that my Rocket Mortar 8 barely hits anything when my enemy escapes and only does massive damage at MAX RANK! So it's pretty much useless along with its 15 second cooldown in a 2 minute Deathmatch!
Well, you can just switch your Rocket Mortar 8's to Rocket Mortar 12. It has more missiles, blast radius, and more damage. Even one Rocket Mortar 12 that is paired on a mech can do much damage

Ich nutze es inzwischen auch und damit ist man fast immer unter den mvp s , daher gehört der sprengradius(basis) und/oder die flugzeit(ggf sogar die flughöge) minimal gepached! Ärgerlich für alle die aufgewertet hab und somit oft auch echtgeld ausgeben haben. Auf zurücksetzen und credits und A Münzen erstatten, dann kann jeder entscheiden ob eine neue Version des mortar Interesse weckt oder nicht... Piloten sind allerdings auch zu erstatten, da diese nur mortar genutzt werden können & keine Alternative bedienen können. Oder den piloten(fey z.b.) eine Waffenzunft dazu bauen.
