They have designed the the mk4 with a different lever so the bolt doesn’t go forward for PRS shooting lads , if you pull it back it stays back in between shots , the mk3 doesn’t 👍
I’ve owned the following FX air rifles, Impact MK 3, Wildcat MK3, and an FX Dynamic takedown rifle, and all three have had any number of problems. Personally speaking, I prefer the Eastern European air rifles, of which I have 3 AGT, 1 RTI, 1 Brocock Ghost and a Daystate Revere, all problem free. TBH I’ve not had a decent FX offering since the Xsor and I will never again buy into the FX hype. After all FX they have more relaunches and new models than Apple.😂 Thank you for a totally honest review, with no hype. FX lets reinvent the wheel and charge an astronomical price for our new wheel.
To be honest I have owned Daystate, Brocock and AGT rifles. One Daystate couldn’t be repaired so got replaced. My Uragan 2 grouped like a shotgun and couldn’t be repaired so I had a replacement and chose a Vulcan 3 and my BRK Ghost was clunky and agricultural so I sold it. So all manufacturers make Lemons.
But some manufacturers forego the fruit and make decent guns. The only rifle I’ve owned that was worse than the FX ensemble, was an HW BP, which was a right Pomegranate.
Had an FX Crown .25. Spent a lot of money at HUMA for Power upgrades plus a compressor. Better of shooting a .22 with subsonics, you get same/better performance, maybe not as accurate & a lot cheaper,no air leaks & don't have to worry about air.Sold the FX Crown & purchased a new Weirauch HW80 .22. I live in Australia so we don't have the rediculous 12 flb laws.
Nice overview of m4,same barrel system which i think lets these guns down i have an m3 which i have had loads of problems with the 177 barrel so i bought a second hand 22 barrel which is spot on
Looks good but the price,a little on the high side, when I looked at the drs you have to buy extra s for scope mouts also no cover over the fill prob and from what I seen on tube by the non sales rep BS it's not that accurate over distance and you can get better for £550, enjoyed your video, hopefully i will give you some business soon
The M4 manual,is online altho the trigger adjustment is anyones guess as the instructions are nothing like the video ..I have screws in most holes here but the video doesnt ...
Well done chaps. Another honest overview. I don't believe it's just the gauge that's been removed though, I think they've removed the second reg all together. So it's more like an upgraded MK2. I really wish FX would just put a bit more effort into getting a rifle right before starting to sell it, instead of bringing a new rifle out every couple of months, waiting for customers to tell them what's wrong with it, then charging a small fortune for add-ons to try and get it shooting as it should have originally 🙄
£1800 and FX haven't even bothered to make a new chassis for the M4. For that kind of money, I do not expect a cheap plastic bung, thrown in to cover the hole created by the missing regulator. (A REGULATOR THAT BUYERS WERE TOLD WAS A MUST HAVE). Will the next "upgrade" have no bung, and cost an extra £100 ? Or will it be coloured plastic for an extra £120? Mix and match mecanno rubbish. Not a bad video though, well done.
I've got over two hundred air rifles in my collection fifty three are pneumatic and I'll never have a FX that looks like a toy I've heard a lot of air gun enthusiast have had nothing but problems with FX guns and for the high prices they charge is ridiculous not even a nice piece of walnut or laminate just plastic and nuts and bolts.
@@nicholasrichards2402 I’ve had problems with quite a few well known manufacturers. They can all have their problems Sausage. You’ve obviously never seen an FX King, Crown or DRS then? Walnut and laminate stocks 👍.
well done boys you didn't scope it up, that's something a lot of shops wouldn't care about nice one 👏👏
Master Chef guy knows his onions when it comes to air rifles. 👌
Great Stuff Guys

I dont know why anyone would buy the FX impact M4 over the HW100 adjustable laminate especially at £600 more.

FX is overpriced & air leaks are a big issue. Should get years of trouble free shooting for the price.

Dont suppose you know what the useable shot count is on the m4 standard sub 12 .22 is, cheers
I like springers 👌

As always UK version a bit different than others :(

All of you should stop buying FX crap with their high prices and guns that look like toys.
How many FX Rifles have you actually owned🤔
Sour Grapes for dinner 🤣

As unreliable as the 3?

First 3 out of the box had problems at my local dealer. I didn't buy it after all
Lolz
Not sure how you can review a gun without shooting it. Kids not for me
We didn’t review a gun without shooting it, we did say it wasn’t a review but a look at the difference to the M3.
@@rangecountryairguns5883 and with no slight intended, the difference seems rather negligible.
