Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring video. It's intersting to see an open expression of tai chi principles not hemmed in by a repeatable and well established set of sequential postures.
I noticed one important thing in this video and that is when all the weight is supposed to be in one leg it isn't which shows me this is probably wrong if a person was to push either leg the person doign this will become unbalanced and probably fall.its called full and empty . myself when Iam doign my sets either Tai Chi or CHi Kung I always use the string idea of a string from above me goign through the center of my body so that that is tight lifting my head this relaxes everything and for me makes it very efffortlessly simple t odo all the movments and als od othe full and empty parts with ease. but that is just how I do it I am not saying tha tthis is incorrect in this video but it isa different then the way I developed my Tai Chi and Chi Gong

@@cherlin9687 It is not stance, it is the level one had to achieved. In professional boxing, there is no stance, but they could sense a punch coming and also the ability to absorb an attack. Just look at Mohammad Ali.

I was struggling in the beginning to use “十三勢” instead of “ 十三式” but was confirmed it was a right word used by some masters. I believe I need to find time to consult with Master Lin again:)
Easy to say, very difficult to achieved. That is why so few has truly understand this art. Most people just do slow dancing or pushing people around. Actually, most professional boxer contain these quality than those who practice TC.
Silly Chow.. Taichi no use for fighting. Just do it for exercise period. Mumbo jumbo bull crap. Go on UFC, see how taichi master got crushed in 15 seconds. Grrrr.

You are correct, I only see it in professional boxer like Mohammed Ali. Most so call Tai Chi master has very stiff weak neck.

Every form has a Commencing (Qǐ shì) and Closing(Shōushì)in the beginning and the end of the form. And yes, this is a Yang Style form.

楊式太極較混圓,此録像之太極較方,不似正宗楊澄甫之老架大極,講到太極,楊氏太極才符合太極原理,講究陰陽,其他太極途有太極之名而無太極之意。

为何师傅你的弓步后腿没有蹬直,是什么原因?我不明白,因我见杨澄甫宗师的拳照并不是这样,他弓步的后腿是蹬直的
林老師的回覆如下:「太極拳的任何動作手臂與兩腿都不可伸直或挺直。要弧形飽滿八面支撐。
弓步時弓腿之腳(前腳)為實,前腳小腿垂直地面 且膝不過腳尖 ; 後蹬之腳為虛 , 不能蹬直,要有弧形有一些彎曲度。
按勁時前腳力量往下後腿蹬地 , 若後腿全直容易造成身體重力前傾的雙重。
我也仔細看了楊澄甫大師照片 , 有些照片上弓步後腳還是微屈 , 但有些照片後腳比較直應該是在發勁時捕捉到的畫面。」
前脚實,後脚便虛,後脚自然微曲是正確的,就算直也無妨,只要是不用拙力便可。

Tai Chi is a set of principle, not the form.

自义和团以来 功夫吹牛从不消停 您这样讲究 假如练手十年 您究竟是出拳特别快力量特别大 还是别人打您您躲的比较快
現在最大的問題是:"師承有問題"。
目前大部分教的太極拳,
都是不能十站的太極拳 !!!
假如師承沒問題,
練手十年。
會產生兩種現象:
(1)反應特快。
我的師公可以抓蒼蠅。
我現在,可以打死蚊子。(以前沒辦法,以前常常失敗,現在勝率大概可以達到八成)
(2)力量特別大。
a.楊家太極,如果師承純正,練十年,應該可以練出"短勁"。
一點點的距離。
別的拳師打,距離太近使不上力,不會怎樣;我們打,就是幹到骨折吐血。
這就是CIA跟民進黨譏諷的"閃電五連鞭" (當然,不是叫這麼名字),
事實上,那在高手的手裡,是可以用的。甚至是可以致命的。
騙子騙人,都是三分真七分假,可信度才高。
馬保國估計是有見過世面的。
所以,你不要笑騙子傻,說不定傻的是你,他騙的,有些是真的 !!!
b.如果功夫學得更道地一點的,說不定可以練出打飛。(就是發勁)
一接敵,敵人飛出去,摔死....結束戰鬥....回家 !!!
據師公說,有師姨使過,而且不是一次消滅一個人,是一次消滅兩三個....用簡單的斜飛而已。
(3)躲:楊家太極拳不躲。
中國功夫發源於器械(兵器),
拿器械,身體歪歪扭扭,武器就無法發揮力量。
所以,中國功夫不躲。敵人來,直接掄起武器來格擋。
如果是拳腳,就直接出手出腳來格擋。
楊家太極拳也幾乎不躲。(我只有看過一招是躲的,在楊家太極劍。而且是偏鋒。)
能不能躲,或許可以,但是不強調,
套路中,主要也不是用躲來解決問題的。
初學的,功夫很爛,那就用套路硬格硬擋,跟小流氓或許可以匹敵。
(但是,這就是把太極拳打成少林拳了。)
有一點根器的,敵人來就把敵人的手沾住,
套句網民們比較容易理解的,就是 接--化--發
簡單的說,就是跟武俠片一樣,把敵人的拳腳接住,然後就進去了。
功夫不好的就打,用閃電五連鞭追擊敵人到打死為止 !!!
功夫好的就讓敵人飛,一招弄死 !!!
當然,還有別的境界,不過多說無益,講多了也是白講。
況且,我講到這邊,已經有人會說我是吹牛了。
@@古德林-i4v 谢谢您的认真回复。关于抓蚊子和虫子,或者杯子在桌子边,能很快伸手去接住,我信,而且深有体会。因为我们练太极,每天都有伸手的运动。拳打几千遍后,抓个虫子或蚊子,是比常人要厉害。但是,个人觉的,和击打敌人无关,不代表有打击的力度。再有,更和迎面来拳,或对手放招,是两种体验。一般传武应对此场景还是比较弱的。 第二 打击力度,是要多次击打硬物才有的,看到很多传武和格斗比武,总是打人无威力,面对击打,总是狼狈不堪。自义和拳以来,武术夸大吹牛较多阿 。 后悔练了十年太极,要是只练一年泰拳就好了。
