What setting would you use for night interviews? For the lightening

      Hi Chris
I saw your street interview FAKE CELTICS FAN video for reference, and I am assuming your requirements are for a street scenarios under no light or dark situation, then this light could be enough for a close shoot, say to shoot upto 3 persons in a tight frame, fix the light on the camera’s hot-shoe mount and shoot straight with 2 meter max distance from the person at 100% intensity (reduced intensity as you reduce the distance), colour temperature I will go with flat profile say 5200 to 5600 kelvin not too warm or cold (this temperature is my preference as I like to colour grade later in post production). Also the type of camera, video settings and the lens would make a huge difference with any light setup…
I experimented this light with 2 person video shoot in a dark bus stop with the same setup, it was bright enough but I must say the shadows are too harsh for my liking even with the silicone defuser, especially when the person turns his head often.
If you are going for a studio or news interview setup, then this light alone is not enough. I might use this light as a fill light / secondary light on just one person’s face to get details of shadows from key light on that person.
There are lot of tricks and methods to use fill, key, fall, back lights to make a video more dramatic, i am still experimenting things..
      Hope this helps
      Cheers
