As one who played SNES Mario World a lot before playing GBA Mario World, you can imagine how happy I was to see Luigi actually be part of the credits parade rather than just being absent.
When I first finished the game I remember seeing Torpedo Ted and saying I NEVER SAW THOSE! It made me explore more and finaly found em in a secret level! That was exciting!

These credits honestly felt like a finale, the way they did a roll call for all the villains at the end. If this had been the final Mario game, I would be okay with an ending like that
I’ve had this game for as long as I can remember. When I was little I could never get very far so I just played yoshis island over and over again. But I finally decided I wanted to complete it, and I just beat bowser this morning. It took me many years and I feel so accomplished now 😂
@@senororlando2 you was 7 years old. I play it recently. 7 year old me was playing the first super mario and got so excited to find out that their is a level 2 and i found it hard when i replay it now i found it easy
I have this game for the actual SNES, and got through the whole game. The only thing changed in the endings is that Luigi actually gets some credit for for helping Mario in the quest in the GBA version(which he didn't get in the original even if he did beat Bowser.
The battery backup is likely to be flat. The cartridge is held together by a single screw and two tabs, so applying enough force should get the cartridge open enough to get the circuit board out. There will be a button battery on the circuit board. if you can't get it open, call the Nintendo hotline
This version is better than the original for many reasons: 1. Luigi is in the credits 2. Peach looks prettier than the original in design and colors 3. The bug with Yoshi's orange arms that he has in the original is not there 4. And Mario is not dancing on the road.
Don't get me wrong, this one is great and all, but this one just sounds a bit......off. Maybe it's 'cause the instruments used on the SNES were a lot cleaner than the ones used by this game. It doesn't help that Super Mario World on SNES was the first game I ever beat, haha.
I've only played the original SNES version, and that was a LONG time ago. I vaguely remember some enemies changing once the Special World was cleared, but didn't remember the Bullet Bill -> Pidgit Bill change. So I thought the footage at 2:54 was displaying some kind of glitch until I looked it up.

I wonder - Why is Luigi omitted out of any mention in the SNES version? 2 Player games in SMB3 and SMW on the SNES are pretty much Mario & Luigi mode on the GBA ports, because you can play those modes with one controller. It seems weird in the SNES version to see Luigi beat a castle, and the game refers to him as Mario, but that's probably laziness of older games at work, only counting the main character as a do-worker.
The original SNES is better it's okay the GBA version is the same with enhance music and it's where you take the games on the go but so glad this is the real GBA cartridge of the game it's just being played on the GameCube with the GBA player.
I know that it looks like it is misspelled, but that is the correct name of the bad guy. It is obviously a big, walking bomb. That big walking bomb is named Bob. Or you can call it "Bo Bomb". Bob-Omb.
Question for anyone. I played this game as an early teen and just played it through on the Switch re-release. I have this memory that after beating Bowser a 2nd time or more, he would appear in the end photo in his clown car hiding in the clouds (I believe above Mario's right hand). But that didn't happen this time arouind. Not sure if it's a false memory or if I had to beat Bowser again before 100%ing the game which I had already done before beating him a 2nd and 3rd time. Did anyone else remember this?

Grew up with this version. It did the snes version justice honestly. Gba soundchip could sound amazing if the right effort was put in.
I love how Luigi is part of this ending
Such an awesome credits song. :D
It's funny... this variant of the tune resonates with me more than the original. Thank you Gameboy Advance, for letting me know this game.

Nice ending but why is Luigi following BEHIND !?
It depends on which brother saved Princess Peach. I believe when you save her as Luigi, he's in front and vice versa.
He out there smashing
He checking out dat ass
Whooooosh
Maybe Luigi is scaredy cat

the gba can't process so much amazing instrumenting because it IS a handheld with a limited sound chip
Comparing Sony SPU Chip to ARM7 SPU is invalid.
Different but in the good way. Adds something that we didn't see before
