    Glad I found this one as I'm doing this tomorrow. I was surprised that you did not water more as they were so dry. Is it because they are babies? Love and Peace.

    You can also propogate with the flower buds, theyre like seeds

    Is there a way to make the foliage more dense? I have a mature peace lily but I don’t quite like how the stems are tall now. If I propagate it will it shot new small growths that would cover the mother plant stems? 😅

    I have a leaf look healthy but scratched during transportation and finally torn part so i removed it and put in vase, now it has been 2 whole months changing water on daily basis and there is a kind of vein coming out along the stem then 2mm edge of that vein is clear to eyes, do you think i can still bear a hope to get roots? The leaf is in exactly same typical condition and colour till now😊

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
      @SheffieldMadePlants  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn't know you could prop a PL through leaf cuttings. Keep at it and see what happens 👍

    Thank you for this! How are these propagations doing? I saw in one guide you should snap some of the rhizome of the lily for your propagation, but I couldn't tell if you had in this video.... Do you know if a plant is more or less successful when you do this? Thanks!

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
      @SheffieldMadePlants  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm I didn't snap a rhizome but wouldn't surprise me if this worked. You can normally cut rhizomes in other plants like purple shamrock to get more yield.

    Nice plants you have :) My plant new leaves are very small like 10 cm maximum high and the tip of them are brown. Any idea?

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
      @SheffieldMadePlants  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. Sounds like it might not be getting enough light. The brown tips might be lack of water. They are thirsty plants in my experience

  • @TinyDancer4Joy

    Thank you so much for this informative video. My Peace Lily has brown tips on the leaves and I recently saw some advice about getting a humidifier. Is this really necessary for a healthy Peace Lily in your opinion?

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
      @SheffieldMadePlants  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not really. You’ll get brown tips usually but I don’t worry too much.

    • @pamaha16
      @pamaha16 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So, the brown tips are normal? I live in Utah and it's dry here and I've noticed that my peace Lilly got brown tips from day 1 at my place 😢 but it's still alive and even gave me one bloom during the spring, so I figure I must be doing something right? 😆 Is it wise to cut the brown tips of the leaves or just leave them be?

    • @TinyDancer4Joy
      @TinyDancer4Joy 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@pamaha16 I think that watering with rain water can help stop brown tips - I just realised this. Also there is a video on this channel about using water conditioner to improve tap water for plants.

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
