Can you elaborate on Uber eats not treating delivery drivers well (Im not disagreeing or denying, just curious because I am new to this)
I get extra tips after delivery with ubereats sometimes but it never happens with doordash. With doordash the pay I get after delivery is what I get and it doesn't change. With ubereats it can increase the next day.
First time doing any food delivery, Uber Eats has been working out well for me im at 90 deliveries total and I don't have any complaints with Uber Eats. I did however have a bad experience picking up a Walmart grocery order waiting for an hour and I now opted out of those grocery orders from the Uber Eats help section.
I wish you could auto decline orders that are apartments. Being a disabled person I’m unable to do tons of stairs such as 3rd floor apartments…
That would be cool if they added that in the future

How can i get good ordrs . I am uber eats driver and has a lot orders 3 miles 2.50$ or 4$ It’s very not serious orders. I am in brooklyn. This is car and not scooter or bicycle. I thought I would have more by car.

I don't use para because too many apps drain my phone battery, even when plugged in. And it doesn't do anything I can't do in two seconds with my eyeballs and one finger tap.
I had it for a week; it did nothing but drain my battery and annoy me. It doesn't auto-decline orders. My phone still gets the orders and buzzes and beeps requiring my attention. After 5 seconds, the app declines the order, after my attention has already been wasted, already been taken off the road, and in in double the time it takes me to manually decline.
What's the point of draining my battery for more actual hassle than using my finger?
Para rocks I love that app, hopefully next they'll let us block apartment orders

Question do you have to turn on your uber app and para at the same time? Or just open para and go online there?
Once you're activated on the Uber app, you can switch over to Para and select "Go Online" to accept and decline orders
I guess only your app allows you to accepT and decline orders in it because the one I have does not
I'm in your market and I can zoom into the map. I've also had it showing me where it's going for like 3 months

Lol I decline all chick fila orders. I’ve had a bad experience with two. Either food isn’t ready or it’s busy. Also I noticed they never tip.

I wouldn't count on it soon since DoorDash is making it difficult, but all the updates with the other apps are getting better all the time

my question is so when it is declining orders for you does that mess with your rate and will uber eats kick you off for having too low of an acceptance rate
Uber Eats won’t deactivate your account for having a low acceptance rate. I’ve reached 0% several times

No , please don't accept shitty orders it messes things up for all of us , orders like that shouldn't even be allowed, most of these companies don't care about us ,they are making a killing , we will never make more money if we all accept every single order ,don't worry you can't be deactivated, they need up ante and pay us a fair wage per order
Do you knock on the door and leave the orders at the door? Or do you have to hand off the order to the customer?
The customer will decide that when placing the order and the driver just follows the instructions
@JacobWarren1 I follow instructions when the order said leave at door, I got reported it said they didn't got the order.I ask uber eats the lady said "you can't leave food at door without costumer consent". I really don't understand what to do exactly.

Ok I like the idea of Para but I have heard that DD would cancel me for using it..any truth to that?? Also, does Para manage multiple apps ..as in, pausing one app if I accept an offer on another app? One more question, sir, is it better to let an offer time out vs declining it??
Uber eats does not care if you use Para, or any other app. DD, it's in the contract, you can't.
Blow off DD, and just Uber, so you don't have to say why you declined that order. Decline everything until one comes along your car likes. When you burn up your car, and buy a new
one, you figure out, F them, I am taking only orders my car likes. My average is 9 dollars for 3 miles or less. I sit though, on weekends only make 20 to 25 per hour, but dinner shift, it's always over 30 per hour. Get a day job, and Uber from 5pm to 8pm. Save your car, or everything you make, goes into buying another one. Uber also does not care if you except an order, then cancel it due to a bad restaurant taking to long. Over a year, I cancel about 2 orders a night.
DoorDash will not cancel you for using Para. No drivers have been deactivated from using Para. However, Para is focused on Uber, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Lyft at the moment while also continuing to expand when possible

UPDATED: It works great!!. Has this app worked for anybody? So far it has done nothing of what it said on this video, I still keep getting all orders, and doesn't show any addresses either.
Is your Uber account linked to Para and you’ve set the up the auto decline parameters and everything else?
@Jacob Warren Yes I do, looks like I had to click on the Online option in the Para app, it's working now.
@@synelpt2927 Nice! Glad it's working for you now. You'll have to select Go Online every time. That way it doesn't look for orders while you're asleep and use your phone battery

@@synelpt2927It won't use your phone battery because after a hour if you don't receive any orders it will turn itself off so make sure you check it after a hour of inactivity.. also you can't accept or decline orders inside this app

That dirty car it makes the rest of us look bad. 2nd your crapping on the companies when all you have to do is open your mouth, ask for your order, take your hot\cold bag with you so they know what your there for. If it's taking long ask for a manager. A closed mouth doesn't get fed. Please stop using this ridicule app.

How does Para handle UberEats hidden tips? Are they able to identify actual tips when UberEats hides them?
I ask because I’m not quite sure how to best set Para’s auto-decline parameters knowing that UberEats hides some tips. (For example, I’m not quite sure how to set dollar to miles ratio when full amount could be hidden.)
This is late but:
IME... _NO order $10 and under is gonna have it hidden. Revealed max on tip offer is $8 (test it you'll see). Add $2 delivery and 'air's ya low-water.
That knowledge is the _very_ reason I fall for so many $12 pay-to-play offers (and they surely know it)😆

You wouldn't view the Uber app. You can do all the accepting and declining from the Para app

FAKE NEWS: I can guarantee no food delivery driver is beating what I make doing Uber x. I work about 45 hours a week. I’ve been averaging $1,523.00 per week working 5 days a week. If someone is making more delivering those $3 orders I’d take it all back
