  • it was a regular work day in the Kingdom after enjoying the memorial day yesterday. the welding deck turned out to be someone attempt at making a nice product fit what it was not built for. this person hacked away and did lots of "questionable" welds to make it unbelievable on how bad it was. i used the plasma cutter "the pro-point 30a plus" to remove a lot of the mistakes to make the welding deck better. the staff had great fun with the water break at her house and will still be having fun in the morning. thansk

    I would say that deck looked like Steevi Wonder did it. I'm sure he would have done a better job! Oh well, you get to fix the other guys' mistakes . It was a little chilly today in Louisiana. It only got to 92F .

    The welding bed looks more like a pattern for one. No problem, you’re well on your way to addressing that little matter. Hope they get the Staff’s water line repaired soon. Looks like the basement floor may take a little longer. Take care.

    Mr. KoO, The other day you showed a Nickel weld that the guys in the mine did on a bucket and it looked just like new. Is there anything to using it for corrosion protection? Probably too expensive. OK, fine business, hope Staff gets water back on soon. ben/ michigan

      yes those rods were expensive back then. we will fix the deck and make it so the road salt does not get trapped in the areas to cause rusting. and use lots of paint. thansk

    Boy the persons who modified the deck had no clue. I would let him build me a sandwich. That rust jacking can get pretty bad. I’ve seen it bend double railed truck frames. Xena has a mess to contend with.

      yes day and night on the fellow who built the deck and the fellow who modified it. sad to see. the staff took the day off work to get the town to fix it properly after wasting most of yesterday away. the old town grew would fix it right the first time but in todays new world, fix it 4 times and it might last. thansk

    I can understand bad workmanship. Not everyone is good. Two things I can't understand is they don't understand how dangerous the work makes things and even worse is bragging about how great the job was. Frames totally booger welded and body work that when you look down the side of the vehicle you get seasick from the waves. This they brag about and want top dollar for. I try to just walk away because of the work involved to tear it back down and start over. I am not a great welder and I will tell anyone that it's done right but ugly plus I only work on my own stuff. If it is for someone else, it's free and I give them the option to find someone else.

    • @kingofobsolete4789
      @kingofobsolete4789  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yes that is so true. now if i was to just use the deck thinking it looked good and then it fell apart that would not be good if someone got hurt. thansk
