Day Ticket Barbel Fishing The River Wye - Approach & Tactics - It's Rising Fast! - 15/8/23 (Vid 427)

For this session I was on the banks of the Wye with my friend Mick for the day, barbel being the targets.
I run you through my tactics and tackle as I approach a day ticket stretch of the Wye.
Little did we appreciate that the river started to rise around midnight from 0.6m and peaked at lunchtime at 1.6m! That made things interesting and tricky during the session! However it turned out to be a successful day...with one of the most epic barbel fights I've ever experienced on feeder gear.
