That’s a crazy story. I recently got an unsolicited email from from a buyer myself. he claimed another item that was sold to another buyer was a scam and that the person murdered their brother 20 years ago and they wanted a copy of the receipt. I told him I can’t send receipts from other buyers to unsolicited people. That It was a protection of privacy, but that I would contact eBay and report it. They also said they were going to contact the police. But seemed to back down and even thank me after I told him that that I reported it to eBay. Really weird situation.

I am a much calmer and more thoughtful person now as I am 52 yrs old. However 20 years ago and back (of course not much internet then) it was SUPER rare for anyone to say something stupid to me because I was " THAT GUY " back then. Today I still have that guy in me I just choose to be a bit better than my former self. I learned a lot from you and Allie and the gang when I first started ebay 3 years ago and while I trailed off a bit, nothing against you or the channel just a different type of store and such, and also enjoyed the lives that you did with the 3 of you. I've always thought you were the good guys, trying to impart your wisdom and your knowledge, sharing your good stuff as well as your mistakes. I'm back again and loving this series! My brother, sister in law and niece all have Teslas and are fans. Sis In Law has the one with the wing doors (guess you can't call them gull wings) bought it as her retirement present. I have a Model S also - mine has just run out of its battery/drivetrain warranty. Luckily there are now quite a lot of aftermarket repairers popping up who can fix the batteries and drivetrain motors for a fraction of the price (repair rather than replace).

You need to get AAA and get the highest level so you will have three 100 mile tows. It doesn’t cost that much annually. Make sure you have Allie on it. On your gas vehicle if the battery goes out you can call them / online buy a battery from them and they will bring it to you and install it. AAA has discounts at different places like hotels and restaurants, etc.

Had a very similar start to a conversation last week. I relisted a DVD and accidentally pit it up as $113 Instead of $11.3 and was insulted. I did fire back also stating you can tell its a mistake and you could of just messaged and alerted me, but no you had to go all guns blazing. No response back. I assume they realised.

That is completely insane that somebody would come to your Ebay shop and talk to you like that. Why would anybody start a conversation like that in the first place? That is weird as heck! I agree you don’t go personal when you have a problem with someone but personally the whole thing was wrong. You don’t go to somebody’s house and insult them and that’s basically what he did. He insulted you he insulted your wife in your own home. Your Ebay page is your home. Just like your TH-cam channel is your home . So , you don’t go in someone’s house and trash them. I hope Ebay will do something because that was totally inappropriate and they deserve to be completely eliminated off of the platform.

What we used to say back in the day is when are speaking with integrity and the person starts with the nasty curse words we used to say, “Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” It’s usually shuts down the conversation down. I have a Model S also - mine has just run out of its battery/drivetrain warranty. Luckily there are now quite a lot of aftermarket repairers popping up who can fix the batteries and drivetrain motors for a fraction of the price (repair rather than replace).

You need to get AAA and get the highest level so you will have three 100 mile tows. It doesn’t cost that much annually. Make sure you have Allie on it. On your gas vehicle if the battery goes out you can call them / online buy a battery from them and they will bring it to you and install it.
AAA has discounts at different places like hotels and restaurants, etc.
Pharmacy too - saves my mom $90 every three months or so on one scrip. The AAA card paid for itself FAST.

Had a very similar start to a conversation last week. I relisted a DVD and accidentally pit it up as $113 Instead of $11.3 and was insulted. I did fire back also stating you can tell its a mistake and you could of just messaged and alerted me, but no you had to go all guns blazing. No response back. I assume they realised.
So My Wife has a Great saying " Don't Engage Stupid" I find that this makes life so much easier.
