As a Dbacks fan, I’m glad Didi figured things out in NY. Still wild that he was essentially Traded to the Dbacks for a future Cy Young Winner and Traded away for another future Cy Young winner, and none of them had particularly notable success in Arizona.
the truth is jeter's last 3-4 yrs he was at best an average hitter and his defense was pretty mediocre to at times horrible. didi came in at the right time. he was a defensive and offensive upgrade in comparison to jeter's latter years. a far cry from his earlier days
