Hi, I have a weird question does this work on a Tamiya polycarbonate RC body shell ? I spray painted my neo scorcher with humbrol silver and what a disaster it is paint has separated into blackish swirls ? Totally ruined body and wing 😢 the paint is enamel though but because the body is polycarbonate I’m worried it will melt or go cloudy. Any help would be gratefully received. Quick not on new channel videos.... awesome job 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 DO NOT STOP PRODUCING THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES oh and thanks... thanks a lot, a lot of us need help in all aspects of modelling some need to polish there skills others more blessed than us/me like to see how others DO things. You never stop learning in this hobby new techniques new tools new products new kits that’s what I love and the friendships you make all over the world + no question is to stupid so I’d just like to thank you for an awesome job with Facebook and TH-cam I know it takes a lot of your time so just wanted you to know that I am very thankful to you 😁👍🏻 All the very best for the future, Kenny 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Ken, It SHOULD work just fine. I know it will easily handle the enamel paint. It's very gentle on plastic, and I would venture to say polycarbonate may be even more durable than styrene. Regardless, I've never had any issues with oven cleaner affecting the plastic. If at all possible, try a small sample first, but to be honest, I think it would be completely fine. If you end up doing it, please let us know the result! Thank you for your kind words!
Thanks for taking the time to post. Important subject as this is a very common question asked by modelers. Another method that I've found works very well is brake fluid; submerge the part in it overnight and strip the next day with a toothbrush. Like you said in the vid; there are many methods out there.

Thank you! Ill be publishing a video in the near future covering at least 4 other methods of stripping paint
Shelley’s oven cleaner is a great option to but make sure to wear gloves and keep it away from your eyes @@TheEmptySprue
