some of my favorite msx games are Lazy Jones and Pong from konami, there was also a very good football manager game on msx, where you actualy saw the match being played, i can't remember the name. i also liked H.E.R.O, the one that had more details, dunno if it was on msx or C64
I really think I would have loved this system, if I was exposed to it as a child. I can tell a lot of Activision ports I played on the C64 ended up on this system, with reasonable quality. I just love some of the music, especially Nemesis 2 (Gradius 2). And this is just the MSX 1 hardware, not even the more advanced MSX 2.
Some of the most frustrating but addictive games ever , like an idiot I got rid of it back in the day. Worth a small fortune now.
Didn't know that the Ocean isometric Batman was on cartridge, omg!

H.E.R.O. was on MSX, I have featured it on the channel: th-cam.com/video/WU-JtY-zf6g/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TheLaird%27sLair

Yeah, agreed. I've got a real soft spot for the MSX these days, it's such a great system to explore with a lot of really unique games.
Hammer throw on Olympic games was impossible to get right on a black-white tv screen......so frustrating
I think I'm going to become more familiar with this system lad. It really didn't have a presence in the North American market so it's a curiosity.
The only MSX I've ever played on is the motobike.
