For those who never taste it. Durian is love it or hate it.
if you love it, you will think it smells nice and sweet.
If you hate it, you'll think it stinks.
South east asian in general (not all) loves durian. But most of my british friends usually say it smells like rotten eggs. I think Chungha doesn't like it too.
i hate it though my whole fam loves it... and it stinks up the whole fridge :(

Hahaha Chungha is so polite with the durian dessert, it's even her first try! I'm proud of her. Kyulkyung did great taking her around Guangzhou and teaching the local customs about tea drinking with dim sum :) nice details. Ohh especially with their way of describing the difference between the shrimp dumplings! I've never thought of that. My goodness me. I'm so impressed.

not surprised chungha doesn’t like durian, i noticed a lot of koreans really aren’t used to its taste and aren’t really fond of it
That applies to alot of people of different race in general actually, especially those that aren't familarize with it. Durian is an acquired taste after all.

Even as a South East Asian where we grow durian here in this region, I don't even like it since young. But yea, it is really extreme - either you like or you don't. But its indeed getting more popular at countries outside of South East Asia.
I’m Malaysian and Durian is really popular in Malaysia, but I really dislike it ahaha. Also, I live in Australia and there’s quite a bit of durian mochi being sold here too.

During pd101 days she admitted she had a hard time switching back to chinese because she is so used to korean 😂😂
Even though she did have a long training period, I think Kyulkyung's Korean language ability is still pretty exceptional for a foreigner. She gets praised for it everywhere she goes.

That's the mainland Chinese dialect of Mandarin try comparing it to someone from Taipei. Written Chinese of her name would be different because the People's Republic of China using simplified characters unlike Taiwan and Hong Kong which uses traditional characters
@@EpicThe112 Beijing Mandarin is the most accurate form, because that's literally were it came from and the government back in the dynastic days made it standard government speech.
it's funny that from this video they ate mostly food that's not native to guangdong while they were in guangzhou, they really missed out on a lot of delicious cantonese food :(
the entire time i was so confused why they kept introducing food that's not from guangzhou when they're known for very clean tasting food. spiciness isn't really involved. the only thing that was really from guangzhou was the wonton noodles.
Maybe so it appeals better to a Korean audience? Only a guess

when you do the tapping whenever someone is pouring tea for you. One finger tap is for younger generation than you, and two finger tap is for same generation. Here is where it gets interesting, for older generation i see three finger tap, a fist tap and even tap a total of 9 times if you really appreciate that person. The only way to know for sure is to search within history books. XD
awwww how cute I had no idea they visited there cause thats where my mother is from in china💕 im now just learning about the food cuisine although usually their known famously for more milder foods due to the climate but looks really yummy! its understandable though why they would showcase some other foods from different regions (especially sichuan) because koreans (not all, but most) seem to really like spicy foods. But yeah food from guangzhou generally is very delicious I love how food can bring people of different cultures together!
