Enjoyed you information. But at a one to ten mixture of your starter, wouldn't you use two quarts of starter seed per five gallons?

It doesn't take much Starter to get the process going. 1 Pint jar of Starter is enough to turn a 5 gal bucket of honey into Creamed Honey. More importantly is the LENGTH of refrigerator time. 3-4 days in frig at first. then out. bring to room temp. takes a day. then hand turn each jar. back to frig. In 2-3 weeks it's all done and ready to sell. Not hard.

Nobody uses "drill chucks" anymore, unless you have one of those old "Baby-Boomer" Black and Decker Drills, LMAO! If he would be eating the honey he wouldn't be having all those "sniffles"....

ROFL ....don't make fun of my BABY BOOMER Dewalt drill. It's a beast. But I hate chords. I apologize for my sniffles. And yes, I eat honey and bee pollen to dampen down my allergies. It comes and goes.

hmm - I think you didn't accurately factor in your time & effort when you mentioned the "fat profit margin"

LOL. true. to me, it's insignificant really. The "profit margins" in beekeeping are usually fat. Honey is deceiving really. Depends upon how you see things I guess. glass half full or half empty.
