Before any Zuk helmer nerds gets on my case, I decided to call it a cheese method because I only use magic, never switch overhead prayers, don't use plugins, and ignore most mechanics.
This has to be some joke or bait? That's not a cheese or any kind of new method. You're clearly a credit card swiper if you're doing Zulrah like this in this gear.
Low effort method is not the same thing as cheese. It's not a proper cheese if it's less effective than normal playing. Cheese would be like having a bunch of alts spec transfer one account while doing a slayer task to spam crystal halberd special attack to speedlevel, like the max cape speedrun guy did.
@@HebiSnake Nah, cheese isn't "more effective". Cheesing a dark souls boss by sitting in an unhittable corner with a bow and arrow doing 2 damage each shot is still called "cheese" because you ignore the mechanics completely. Completely valid use of "cheese". That said, there are a bunch of mistakes with this guide, and he wants to make a guide so newer players can "cheese" a kill for the diary while not really understanding mechanics, this isn't the way. Just need to learn how to pillar stall and tele out if you get G->B rotation.
@@HebiSnake Cheese in gaming refers to strategies, tactics, or methods that exploit game mechanics in unintended ways to gain an advantage. These tactics often ignore the intended mechanics or design principles of the game, and while they can be effective, they may be suboptimal or require minimal skill. Cheese is generally viewed negatively within the gaming community because it can undermine fair play and diminish the overall enjoyment and challenge of the game. Characteristics of Cheese: Exploitation of Game Mechanics: Utilizing loopholes, glitches, or unintended strategies that give an unfair advantage. This can involve manipulating in-game physics, AI behaviors, or other mechanics that were not intended by the game developers. Ignoring Intended Mechanics: Employing tactics that bypass or ignore the core mechanics and strategies the game is designed around. This could include skipping over challenges, avoiding necessary gameplay steps, or exploiting specific game features in ways that break the intended experience. Repetitive and Predictable Tactics: Using the same tactic repeatedly because it’s difficult for opponents to counter. This can lead to monotonous gameplay and frustration for other players. Suboptimal Methods: Strategies that might not be the most efficient or optimal in terms of resource management, skill, or long-term success but can still be highly effective in certain scenarios. These methods rely more on exploiting weaknesses in the game's design rather than mastering its mechanics.
Max gear? What? He is in Virtus with a Trident of the Swamp and an unfortified ward. His only BiS pieces are untradeables or cost under 15m. Virtus -> Ancestral, Ward -> Fortified, or better yet Trident->Shadow. That's max.
Guys he literally said it's just an easy/cheesy way to get the achievement diary. Obviously you're not going to camp Zulrah with this method but if you just want the one kill it's not bad lol chill
@@orior3650 I would maximize DPS output, so kodai wand and ancestral robes and anything else for best in slot magic damage. If you find Zulrah hard like I do, you want to end the fight as quickly as possible, so best defense will be offense
this isnt really a cheese methode. cheesing is considered to be extremly efficient while exploiting a weakness in a game mechanic. yes you can ignore zulrahs rotations like this but you gonna end up with just one kill per trip. its a very inefficient methode.
Idk any game where “cheese” is the most efficient method. Usually I hear the term applied to moves in fighting games that are an “execution check”. Either the opponent has seen the move before and knows how to deal with it, or they will keep dying to the “cheese” because they are uninitiated. High level players don’t tend to use “cheese” moves because their opponents usually will pass the execution check, but low skill players will spam cheese moves because their opponents tend to not pass the execution check allowing lower skill players to get more wins than they would playing the “right way”. This kind of player tends to have a volatile ranking because they go up when the cheese is working and then they play higher rated people who know how to beat it and they go back down. I think the analogy really fits here - high level players trying to speed run zulrah or max out kills p/h for cash are going to do Zulrah the “right way” with gear switches, tile markers, and following the rotations correctly. Low level players trying to get their first KC or who have a small bank and don’t need max efficiency to get a lot of benefit from Zulrah will use a method like this which gives less kills p/h but is much more likely to get them past the execution check of gear switching and using specific tiles. Such a player is going to have a harder time moving on to content harder than Zulrah because they won’t get the same level of practice at high level mechanics, but they might grow their bank faster than if they keep messing up trying to beat the boss in a more difficult way.
@@sose6255 I’m not very familiar with ToA so I can’t really comment on whether those methods are cheese. Im just saying ive never heard cheese used to refer to max efficiency methods or even particularly efficient methods. Ive specifically seen it used to refer to methods that are good for low level players and bad at high level play. I play super smash bros so the first thing coming to mind is Kirby inhale suicides. If you don’t know how to escape a command grab then its insta death every time, but if you know how to mash and footstool then 90% of the cast can reverse the situation and kill kirby off of it instead. So its considered a cheese move because it works when youre opponent doesnt know how to beat it, not on its own merit. Since Zulrah is an NPC the analogy doesn’t work as well, but I think it’s pretty apt to call it cheese since a player with good enough gear/stats can eek out Zulrah kills like this but if they try the same thing at harder pvm then they won’t be successful anymore
