I talked to you earlier today about this exact bike and said I was contemplating a leftover 2023 KTM 300 XCW. I'm glad I came across this video because not only did that other dealer not return my call, your general knowledge and great walk around video of these bikes has convinced me to go with Beta and 3 Seas. I've worked in dealers for many years and messed around with many similar types of promotional videos for a long time and you're killing it man. I'll be in touch!
You just gave me the number 1 reason I got a 300 back in 2004!! Following the kids around on their KX65/KX100!! I had a Honda XR650R and having to stop and start that beast was a pain. The 300's fire right up.
Awesome to finally see those updated radiators up close. Should be alot easier than denting them in like the other ones. The radiator cap is interesting too but i think its simpler. Cant wait for the race editions
Hi clever you man. I think the X- trainer could be my first two stroke. I must say Im still in love with my first bike. My Lovely Honda XL 500 R 1982 mod 😂 She runs very nice 😊
i have a 300 and have 100 pounds on you.the 300 body slams me like nothing.i have a friend that is good size and he rides a 150 and nobody can catch him.
My friend weighs 150 and sold his 300 to get a 200. He's unstoppable on it. I've tested the 200 & it's truly awesome. I weigh 210 and occasionally ride at 9k in the mountains, so a 300 is better for me. Get the 200. It's super light and nimble. It rides like a mtn bike with a motor! 👍😃
I have a 2020 300rr and I put the JD needle and jet kit on it. So jd needle and 2 sizes smaller on the main. What a difference. Runs so much cleaner and crisp and snappy. More power everywhere and it doesn't load up anymore or even smoke so much. A must do on these bikes! Try a KTM #9 clutch master cylinder also. Much easier clutch pull. Then the bike is perfect.
Funny. My 2018 300rr was $8500 and Ryanco (oldest beta dealer in PA) knocked $300 off that. In his defense his shop is tiny and wanted to make room. But still $8500 was msrp for a plain 300rr in 2018. Prices go up. It happens. I swapped to a 300 RE in 2020 for the KYB forks and supposed counterbalance (which I can’t tell the difference from my 18 at all). Love the bike though. 160 trouble free hours. I ride other bikes so it doesn’t get used heavily but fires up every time even on the original battery that’s never been on a tender
That is so cool! I am however a little surprised that you didn't notice much on the counterbalanced engine. We thought there was a pretty good difference. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation it’s not nearly as noticeable as a counterbalanced “umbrella” branded bike. I ride different bikes when we leapfrog each other dearrowing courses and when I hop on one of them.. the only way I know I’m on a 2 stroke is by the sound. Otherwise there is zero vibration
I’ve been hearing that the 300’s will be coming with two spark plugs in 24. Is that true? Maybe the rr won’t but the race edition will? Is this something you can answer? Thanks for the videos!
Hi, Jared. I'm curious running rad guards like Buttetproof on the '24 will just take up the space gained by the new rads location? Curious. Perhaps Beta USA has the answer.
Honestly we hope never! (I’m sure it’s coming). We absolutely love the simplicity of these bikes and how well they work. There is something to be said for not worrying about TPS sensors and computer diagnostics on your next trail ride. I would suggest signing up for the Beta demo day near you, they are free and have 8 different models to try. Enjoy the ride, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation i been to one before, the 250 and 125 were my favorites. But i gas and go on my husky, no jets, no fuel leaks, no mixing gas, 350 hours. it runs perfect at all elevations. it doesnt get any simpler than that.
I just got a 2024 300RR. It's my first two-stroke ever...after 50 years of riding. The first minute of running it, I thought, hey, this shakes a lot more than my 500RR-S. The second minute, I forgot about it. Not real scientific, but it's all I got.
Look at the 10:37 mark of the video to give you an idea. They vibrate quite a bit for a counterbalanced system. KTM does not vibrate at all, butter smooth. Having said that, once you start riding the Beta you forget about the vibration and it smothers out.
Good Evening, I agree with the folks below. Once. you start the ride I never notice it. I have also grown up on 2-stroks so maybe it just feels at home. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Hi again ! can i please ask : is the 200RR chassis the same as the 125RR chassis ? or maybe a bit bigger ? ... asking because i'm tall 6' 2 ... 125 is sooo small 😔
Yeah, it is. But it's also quiet-ish. And these days, with every tree-hugging eco nazi trying to get motorcycles off of any public lands, the extra .5 lbs is a small price to pay to keep from giving any ammo to those a-holes.
How about the 4 strokes? On my bike the regulator on the right side is blocking for more steering lock. Other radiators only would make a difference on the right side? How is it on the new bikes?
Good Morning, if you prefer premix Beta makes a model that is premix OR they also have an Oil Injection removal kit! Either way will make the bike more simple for you! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Yeah in dream land.. I use to be a KTM fan boy, not anymore.. they've turned into junk. Look up all the piston/cylinder issues on the new TBI models.. imagine paying 13k for a bike thats possibility going to grenade an entire engine in a few hours.. LOL
Not really. Ask the guys who's bikes blew up 2 hrs into the first ride. And I'm talking the bottom ends. Try taking them back to the dealers and see what they say . Oh well , no warranty. Try pushing your bike 20 miles home because your electric part failed on your fuel injection. No thanks
