This is honestly some of the most honest and transparent marriage conversation I’ve heard in a while! Thank you for putting your story out there, it truly blessed me hearing some of your process with God in your marriage! I wish I could have coffee with Linsey and sit for hours, she seems so wise and nurturing ❤

01:26:40 *🙏 Faith can take time to manifest in the physical world, as seen in healing stories where individuals believed they were healed, even before medical scans confirmed it.*
01:27:06 *💡 Spiritual beliefs can strengthen healing, with some claiming that what happens in the spiritual realm may take longer to show in the natural world.*
01:27:31 *👻 Spirits thrive where they are fed; fear and anxiety, when nurtured, can attract negative spiritual forces.*
01:28:43 *📜 God’s promises are unwavering; His word cannot be undone, reaffirming His commitment to fulfill His promises.*
01:29:24 *🌱 Faith isn’t measured by the size of the challenge, but by the certainty in your belief-small faith can achieve great things, like moving mountains.*
01:29:52 *💪 Faith responds to trust, not the magnitude of the need. Trust in God remains constant, whether the challenge is large or small.*
01:31:59 *🌿 Prayer for a fresh revelation of God's love can ease anxiety and fear, allowing individuals to experience peace and strength in stressful situations.*

The parallels between what you guys went through and what I'm going through are insane. He wants me to make the money in the future so he can be a stay at home dad when we have kids. He'd be an amazing homeschool teacher, but it still doesn't sit right with me. We go through so many cycles of doing good and then having huge fights. He told me long ago in past relationships he'd be the first to break up because of abandonment, just like what Taylor talked about. I've never once used the d-word or break up words-- I stay and fight like Lindsey. I am very much a verbal processor, as well. We are both gamers and artists but lately we don't play any of the same games so it's usually me craving closeness while he stays and games in all his free time and feels lonely. Difference in personalities, love languages (husband doesn't believe in them), constant unmerited critiques-- then I harbor insecurity, bitterness, resentment, cop and attitude, and a huge fight breaks out. It's a vicious cycle, but I know there's hope in Jesus.
I followed Lindsey-- was hoping if there was a way to reach out and maybe get some advice. I'm 23 and trying to navigate this marriage.

I agree it is annoying when @ 1:14 “God will show you something that he won’t show anyone else in the world”. I have especially learnt to ignore others on matters concerning the nature of Christ/God , etc when closed minded religious addicts say “you can’t be hearing from God because that’s not what my Bible says”. I long ago stopped worshipping the RC church version of Christ & continually seek his face as do many others. The enduring search for greater truth of Christ far outweighs any man made dogma from only 2000 years ago even if I am the only one who knows it.

The enneagram is “channeled material” - attempting to put you into a box of human understanding, rather than God’s original design. You aren’t a “2” or an “8”!! This is deception, like horoscope.

100% This is demonic… we should only be looking to GOD for our identity, not to man’s fabrication of who we are. Many Christ followers have fallen prey to this trap.

NYC S, yes, correct. It has been used abusively in work situations to cause prejudice and harm to employees. Fortunately, it is going away. Christian counselors began to use it in the 1990’s because they were uneducated about psychology. It was a gimmick that became a glib American “toy” to be intrusive into people’s adaptive personality traits. It is rigid and occult, it has roots in Asian mysticism and was adapted by Jung’s daughter to make a quick buck as a marketing gimmick. It has caused a lot of damage, is divisive, invasive, and can add to trauma suffered by already traumatized people who are struggling to cope by adapting their personality traits.

I can definitely relate my wife is a little insecure like Taylor and Lindsay me as well but I rely on God to get us through she's learning as well married 3 yrs have a beautiful 1 yr old baby boy .I'm also reading a book by my Pastor Fred Price on Marriage excellent read I recommend this to Christian couples and even non believers because they still will be able to relate and hopefully bring them to the Lord .We are working out our issues though .We clash on things that we didn't know could be a triggers to our sensitivities.Since I'm a Christian but really started walking with the Lord compared to proclaiming I'm a Christian and doing what I want to do but I also have to learn how to listen to the holy Spirit.Shes accepted but has to learn how to walk with Jesus but I'm praying she will rely on God like I practice but I also trying to learn to reflect God's character so I don't erupt because we are both wrong whether I was right on this situation.Pray for us and I pray for all my married friends amen

Simon Sinek mentioned on a podcast his experience having a heart-to-heart conversation with his ex-girlfriend quite some time after they had broken up. During the relationship, they both had gone through a lot of really rough pain; and because work kept them geographically separated, they were not able to draw closer together to console each other.
The mindset with which Sinek entered that post-break up conversation was, “Feedback is a gift.” Thus, every time she told him her raw, unfiltered opinion about very painful matters, his response was, “Thank you for telling me.”
Somewhat long explanation but wanted to give a contextual example of what Taylor is talking about - having a mindset of gratitude even when hearing feedback we don’t like.

At the beginning you can honestly still feel the tension between these 2. You can tell there is a bit of unresolved problems just by the fact that when they are in conversation, they still disagree on their statements. But it does seem they are working on it.

@TaylorAWelch 😆. Im married and in my 30s, going on 11 years. Your story reminded me of my marriage where we fought so bad i kept threatening my wife with divorce and took my ring off multiple times. Just like your wife she had strong faith and i 100% believe if it wasnt for her being close to God I would not be here. Whithin the last year my faith has grown so much and just like you ive been fighting my intellectual side because even though i always seeked the true God, i was lost in other beliefs for a bit. I've been watching your episodes for a few weeks now and look forward to seeing how you keep growing in God. 🙏

This is strait evil. I hope god really touches his heart and helps see the truth. He's in fear of Judgment. Not everyone who says Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven.

In Christianity there would be no fighting as the woman is to submit to her husband in every way. He is her head as Christ is the head of man. When a woman truly follow God there is no arguing. Choose a woman who truly follow God and your life will be better.
