Senegal: Community screening and outreach activities to end malnutrition among children

In Louga, Senegal, where the levels of acute malnutrition are very high and exceed the emergency threshold, the Senegalese Red Cross, thanks to the financial support of the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO), and with the technical support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), is running a malnutrition prevention project in the area to prevent illnesses among children.
