I feel like it should be second chances 2.
We already had winners at war and most of the cast you picked are people from that cast. With second chances 2, people from the 30’s seasons get a chance to return, while so do the new era seasons (while also bringing back older players).

I would make 49 2nd chance to with 4 people being added to the legends cast.
I like the idea of a "Best to never win" theme. Probst recently did an interview with Rob C. and stated they definitely want to do something big for the 50th season but claims they aren't sure yet. I think that will be Jeff's final season as he'll be in mid 60s by then.

Of course this isn't perfect, for example, 1 contestant off meeting the diversity mandate, but it provides a good range of players from all eras of Survivor's history

I loved Dom but watching him play with returnees that won’t just suck his dick until the finish would be interesting, he definitely has the potential to become a legend

Why? The only person who quit everything faster while being completely oblivious as to how he was coming across to everyone else was Colton. But I suppose it's to his credit that he didn't actually quit the show, just the challenges.
At least we don't have to listen to his annoying voice anymore.

Considering what Jeff said on RHAP recently about not wanting villains is aggrovating. Villains like Russell Hantz made the show so fun and exciting. I hope he cones back again as well.

Jelinsky is an obvious shoe in, it was genius to give up the challenges and the only reason he lost was because of luck, everybody voted at random CLEARLY because they would otherwise never vote out a Survivor Legend such as him.

Audio for the Devens highlight clip is messed up. Amazing video idea!
Calling Sandra “the first two-timer” is funny to me because she’s still the only actual two-timer. Barring Sandra winning a third time, WAW was a guaranteed second win for everyone else, so while being the winner of the winner’s season is impressive, becoming a “two-time winner” isn’t quite as impressive on a season where the winner is always going to be a two-timer no matter who wins. When everyone on the season is a winner, the playing field is a lot more even, and you don’t have to worry about being judged as a threat because of it, which is what makes Sandra’s two-time win far more impressive. On WAW, being a one-time winner didn’t make you a threat. Sandra won her second season without that benefit, and came on WAW with the disadvantage of being a two-timer when no one else was. She was basically playing the same game as a winner on a season of non-winners. Tony's win was very impressive. He's the King of Survivor and the Winner of all Winners, but being a "two-timer" is more of something he is by default, not really comparable to what Sandra accomplished.

This is exactly what I've been thinking! Tony can't be the best player, because he never achieved what Sandra did. People wanted her to win for the second time against someone who had never won. Tony won a season where no matter who was there in the end, it would be a two time winner (unless he lost to Sandra, if course).
Decided to make this cast but also limit it to a maximum of 5 players per previous season. So WaW has 5 and then Game Changers and HvV have 4:

I had a concept that’d be interesting but probably extremely difficult to cast for called Winners vs. Warriors. One tribe of 10 Winners vs. one tribe of Warriors (one of the runners-up from each season that the competing Winners were from - basically being they fought their way to the top but couldn’t bring home the win).
This is an interesting concept.

I actually like your cast but here are some of my changes:
Stpehanie LaGrossa over V. Nothing against V but I think Stephanie is the most iconic female player of the 10s. I wonder how she will do after Snake in the Grass and Traitors S1.
Malcolm over Jeremy. Jeremy is great, but I think after Malcolm's last vote in GC, I really think he deserves another shot. Plus he is one of the most likeable player ever AND a genuine triple threat.
Wentworth over Natalie. As much as I love Natalie, Wentworth is a name that keeps coming up as much as Parvati and I think she cemented herself as a legend.
Janet over Michelle. I know it's hard casting anyone from 39, but I think Janet went through so much in that season and she may be one of the biggest heroes in the show's history.
Shan over Dee. I think Shan is the biggest star of 41 even if her game was cut short halfway.
Cody over Yam Yam. If only so I can have a rematch of Cody vs Jesse.
Love that you included Vecepia. She’s definitely an underrated winner!

Can’t have survivor legends without Jelinsky
I appreciate the Vecepia pick because she deserved a second shot (and this would be fixing that) but in terms of a Legends theme, I'd give her spot to Jerri. Jerri is more of "legendary" player in terms of archetype and history, imo.
For the modern era, I think Dee is the better overall player, but I would prefer Maryanne. Maryanne is a bigger personality and it would be fun to see her mix it up with people like Tony.
Great picks overall, can't really argue with many.
I would swap Jeremy with Malcolm , but Jeremy is good too ig OH swap Dee with Shan also
Shan is by far the most overrated player in the new era.

I would limit the cast to players who played only once or twice, so we can freshen up the crop of all stars. Up to 5 winners (8 had 4, 20 had 5, 27 had 2, 34 had 3)

Cochran has to be on this list (I know he said he was done) Id also go Kelley W in the 30s over Angelina if thats allowed since I think her first was 29 but she made her mark in the 30s.

Love this cast so much, but I’d put Coach over Russell. Coach is much more likely to play again and I’d rather see Coach play again, although I love both
I'd replace Dee with Shan, Yam Yam with Carson, and Angelina with Gabby. Other than that, I can't argue with any of your picks. I've always wondered how Vecepia would fare on another season, and I'm shocked that she has never been asked back.
Now I feel like I need to Brant Steele your legends season!
Carolyn I think would REALLY struggle in a game with these level of players. Would love to see Carson though.
If Vee wasn't cast for a season where there were like 5 other options, she'd never be on a Legends, unfortunately :/

Overall your list is pretty solid but I'd probably rework some of the OG picks. I'm sorry but, legend or no legend, there's just nothing left for Rob to say or do that doesn't feel like a shadow of his former self. Ditto with Ozzy. There are literally dozens of pre-20s players I'd pick before them like Hatch, Cesternino, Shane, Earl, etc.
Finally someone saying Shane! I think Todd Herzog needs to come back too

I'd like to see a season like Amazing Race 31. Yes, the Survivor tribe would dominate. The Amazing Race teams dominated but the Survivor and Big Brother teams still brought a lot of entertainment.

I'd love to see Jonathan and Michaela again. Michaela was smart as a whip and she stood out too much as a threat amongst a "regular" Survivor cast, but an all-star cast might be different. I would have traded Jay for Christian. Jay has grown leaps and bounds since Millennials vs. Gen X and his cutthroat game on 'Battle for a New Champion' was very Paul BB19 and Russell Hantz. I would love to have seen him battle the legends.

Of course I’d love to see a majority of these legends again, I think 50 could be a good point to do “Survivor: Finalists at War”. Can be composed of players who have played more than once, but have either made it to the FTC or the Finale Episode of their season.
