  • Some of Dhruva Space's team members reflect on the journey of Thybolt Mission, as the satellites have successfully and securely deorbited after more than 15,000 combined orbits. Hear from a myriad of expertises on what it took to realise Thybolt-1 and Thybolt-2 - from design, engineering, assembly, testing, and integration, to launch and operations.
    About Thybolt Mission
The Thybolt Mission leveraged Dhruva Space's P-DoT Satellite Platform for conducting a sequence of technology demonstrations, as well as to enable advancements in research, constellation development and application agnostics use by customers.
The mission launched on 26 November, 2022, at 11:56 am, onboard ISRO PSLV-C54, from the First Launchpad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota (SHAR), India.
    About Thybolt-1 and Thybolt-2
The Thybolt-1 and Thybolt-2 cubesats are made on the Dhruva Space-developed P-DoT system. This is a 0.5U Spacecraft bus that includes a communication payload to enable rapid technology demonstration and constellation development for multiple users. It also demonstrates Store-and-Forward functionality for authorised users in the amateur frequency band.
