    Hey EJ, I know its a bit late, but dropping the main vertex map into another vertex map and using a remap to change the min and max is a great way to tune the inflation without having to alter the pressure settings. It helps stop those over the top inflations that some may not want!!

    • @TheGrrson
      @TheGrrson 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I need to experiement with this method. I love the look of some of the over-the-top inflations but they can quickly crash the sim.

    Great tutorial, EJ. I've noticed there's a lot of exploding and instability when trying to use a bevel deformer to make seams. I did have luck applying the bevel deformer only after running the simulation with all the other fields in the vertex map.

    Great as usual. Question: I'm a full-time motion designer, fluent in After Effects and Maya, but I'm trying to break into C4D so I can offer more options for my clients... where should I start? I love this dynamics stuff but I'm mostly trying to just learn C4D's idiosyncracies after decades of using Autodesk products!

    Hi EJ. You are one of the inspiration. Thanks for your video. I'm very disappointed with cinema 4d some features not working well. I think now I choose the right software for animation. MY Problem is " I Need to show the cross-section of some engineering model, I'm using Boole on c4d. but not working well. I am searching for solution noting but noting found. Why this happened. I Need to show car cross-section view how this possible in cinema 4d. Please help me. I'm so much disappointment and so much confused with cinema 4d issues." Note: In Blender cross-section view animation work seamlessly without any issues.

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      not sure what you mean, cross section? might be you just dont know the right settings to achieve this result and not a limitation of the software

    hey this tutorial is amazing, im still getting exploding polygons on another type of object though. I have a character and when his body inflates his fingers start to inflate/grow like crazy after a while. I increased the expert settings and keyframed the volume conservation & stiffness values etc. Any more tips for controlling these exploding polygons?

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      when this happens, up those springs like i show in the tutorial to make them more stiffso they dont intersect and explode

    • @eyedesyn
      @eyedesyn  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      when you export out the FBX file, make sure you bake out the PLA as well...may also want to try baking it out as an alembic file first and then trying FBX. not sure how Unity handles PLA animation

    I´m having an annoying issue, that my scene doesn´t refresh and keeps the current state of the fields/dynamics, when I move back to the first frame of the timeline. I´ve tried turning on and off every deformer, field, subdivision surface. Does anyone have the same problem or a solution? Thanks :)

    hey hassenfratz, can i order some from you ? need a cool effect like th-cam.com/video/-MtQ4p2PKnk/w-d-xo.html, justlike this, coming from a smal plane/panel (i pad) building up a logo/obect. but the particles has to be thin planes like paper/or smal planes panels like wooden floor. + a snap animation when the particles hit the grid on the end position/logo/object. name it. the heavy part is the flying animation, i will start with one smal pice flying threw whole scene coming with light burst into the object then smooth cming the rest like a swadrone. hit me up i will pay up to 50€
