donglabong, don't be so sensitive. I have followed Karl for the past 35 years, and YES, what he has done is historic. He is an icon at this point....but looking at the creativity of his past, the last few years has been lackluster. And I am being kind. His couture work and métier collections are more inspirational. But Chanel RTW, it is for old ladies, and all of the baseball hats is not going to fix that.
I like how fine the detailing was in this collection and their incorporation of wires and hard-drives into the clothing. Although personally I'm not that into the side caps it was a cringe trend that hasn't passed long enough to be considered retro and I don't think they properly conveyed the theme in the beginning of the show. The robots where too cute looking rather than something of high fashion. Other than that I think Chanel is living up to my expectation.
I kinda love the editing of the video, transporting us to the atmosphere of the show. I like the clothes and the collection as a whole, but the styling was kind of overwhelming
I'm not sure why everyone comes to these comments and acts as if they are fashion critiques. Are you conscious of how all of these colours, styles and cuts are new and unseen for Chanel? Karl Largerfeld would not be as recognised and appreciated in the fashion industry if he didn't switch up themes and styles for literally EVERY season. It's considerable to accept that some of these looks are regular occurrences in any show but that's to maintain the authenticity of Chanel. You'd all be complaining if he didn't maintain the basis of an authentic style and look that makes Chanel distinctive!
This is a wonderful collection. The colors are bold and radiant, the patterns have a certain cellular beauty. the neon lights pattern is absolutely positively rude and stunning. Marjan Jonkman killed me and resuscitated me at 16:00. If you have a great mother she will tell you a little about the designs that will surely amaze you, and if you were there you probably already know what i'm talking about. i love you Gabriel and Karl for giving meaning, elegance and ever lasting style to this overwhelming and always changing life.

I love the colors in this show, but I especially like the light feel of the skirts with the lace panels. I have never been a fan of the boxy Chanel tweed jacket, but there were a few here that appealed to me.
