He's basically spamming the same rapid punches with a few launch attacks by corning his opponents relying on a boxed in victory.
Leroy is a defensive character who lacks any real fast offensive tools besides that string. Its a really good chip string that leads to his pressure

either player plays on the side they choose. higher level players just use arcade sticks or hitboxes, which the latter is easier to use in Player 2.

Leroy’s low gets blocked Jin punishes with ws4 and gets parried for his troubles wth 🤦🏾♀️ 0:12
If you look at the frame data, the move is -8 on block. A ws4 is 11 frames. Pretty crazy low.
To be fair, you can't block in hermit, only parry. So if Jin had read the parry, waited it out, he would have been able to get a big punish. Plus the low parry option is still pretty good

@@Affiliate067 A lot of characters have moves with good chip in addition to much stronger aspects of their kit. He’s playable but they would need to be on crack to nerf Leroy before nearly any other character.

Unfortunately for me it's over from Vanquisher rank with Leroy, I really don't know what to do anymore, I've learned the whole character inside and out, but every other character feels like it's 100 times faster.

I haven't played him in 8 but I did play him in 7 and what I can say if you got your basic bnbs and you know your pokes, then if I had to guess you need to focus more on punishment and movement. Since you're starting to get into the ranks that ppl know what characters do so overwhelming ppl with an unending barrage of attacks isn't gonna work
Shinryu Leroy here, although he lacks damage output compared to the top tier characters, he is still one of the best range 0 characters due to his fast ch strings and launchers

I guess it's because they're not mixed with any other race. Although Eddy has lighter brown skin which makes sense since Brazil is multi ethnic. Master Raven is also light skin
