Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel , This week after over a month of testing a new wifi system i can finally say the KUMA wifi router and puck antenna is worth your money and a Enjoy £20 discount of this amazing wifi system, links below. kuma-products.com/discount/PROJECTCAMPERVAN?ref=PROJECTCAMPERVAN
Great video, good introduction to the product. I had this delivered and ordered through their website on a Tuesday, free next day delivery. I was surprised to discover a message from DPD to say that it was an Amazon order which led me to believe that Kuta's orders are being fulfilled by Amazon. I used to work in mobile coms so looking forward to testing this over a period of time. I have the fixed directional aerial as I am not using it on my motorhome but instead on my house. Thanks for the video and oh, 03:00 'lite' - no, LTE stands for Long Term Evolution because 5G will never be widespread, so 4G is the last of the wide area networks.
Hope you are happy with the Kuma long term evolution. Totally agree with we don’t need 5G for everyday communication. I think Amazon now handles equipment deliveries to aid the supply speed.
I took out an unlimited sim data package with my provider, using it in my phone on hotspot/tethering & a secondary phone (as a router) & working like a dream all over the UK on 4G. Able to link up whatever other devices I want, never even needed an outside antenna. Tried this before buying anything as a good phone is an excellent router within itself...no need for the outlay of anything else.
I've had the opposite experience. I have a separate WiFi router I put my phone sim into, it also has a separate aerial that attaches to it. Anyway, I was always getting decent internet while others around me were not. I was always letting others connect to mine...I still have it of course. My phone on it's own is not so good plus, I've stuck my aerial on the end of a fishing rod up and out through the roof vent when needed.
@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN That surprises me as mine is that good, that even Chromecasting TH-cam, Eurosport etc is flawless from my phone to TV, while others also use their devices at the same time via my hotspot. Here's a great tip though. If you have a modem router, use the very same exact name/password (configure) for your mobile hotspot device & it tricks anything linking to it, in to thinking its your modem router. Then cancel your monthly payment modem router, just as I did.
The 'secondary phone' you're using as a router must have a value. Let's say it's a 3 year old iPhone 15 or something, they're £400 and no external antenna possibility.
Cheers mate, sorry for the delay, i just wanted to make sure its a good bit of kit, and do a bit of testing. it really is not bad and well worth the money compared to a nighthawk or other super expensive routers.
Hi mate, Im in the lakes right now and Im using the Kuma kit as you were in the video, with puck connected but Im only getting 0.39 mb download speed? Any suggestions please? Cheers, Jonny
Hi Paul, the Kuma is a good bit of kit, the antenna that is use is a Wilson and costs more than the Kuma kit, even with doing the speed test it performs really well and for the price it’s not bad, certainly worth thinking about. There’s link for discount and so far around 32 people have bought them and there feedback on the Kuma website is positive.
@@ProjectCamper they reached out to me to test this kit but not sure if it's better than my current system I might do test and give away if not better than my system

I would give them a call to see if the settings can be possibly improved
How you getting on with router? In your test it showed your original WiFi was better than kuma in the tests
