When you use the amp assign to bi amp certain channels, does that also give you the ability to set a crossover point between the HF and LF for that channel to power each driver in that speaker separately while bypassing the speakers passive crossover?
I'm upgrading from a Marantz SR8015. 9.3.4 system. Have an amp for LCR. Would be nice to have Dirac DLBC option and more sub outs. The newer GUI is nice too. The price difference between the A10H and Cinema 30 is negligible and I don't' care about aesthetics. Primarily HT with occasional music. Which one would you go with? My understanding is the A10 H has better DACs so would lean towards it but Cinema 30 has a better power supply and HDAM but for primarily HT not sure that matters. I'm torn.
Nice to hear Denon finally going with quality sounding ESS sabre DAC's. Always love Denon AVR's for their intuitive UI & their user-friendliness. However, when it came to its two channel stereo playback, I personally found Denon AVR's sound quality was a little wanting. Hence, this is certainly a step in the right direction
Hi friend, I have an Arcam AVR31 and last year you said it was one of the best sounding AVRs you've ever heard... do you still think the same? I'm very worried about an Anthem MRX1140 or this Denon! I already had an accident with the X8500h and the Arcam sounded better both in stereo and movies... your opinion would help me a lot to decide, thanks
@AudioAdvice Do you mean adding external amplification? Or looking for prices + amp? My room is small 12m2 I don't really need more power.. I'm just looking for the best avr within my possibilities with a balanced sound for cinema and music thanks
@Audio Advice Hi guys, another nice and professional video. I have TV Sony A90J and after turning it off, it turns off my Denon or Onkyo AVR, which is as it suppose to. However after approx. 5 minutes while the TV is still off, it sends a signal to AVR via HDMI CEC and turns it on again (background picture refresh?). After approx. another 5 minutes it turns it off again. This is extremely annoying! Have you experienced this with Sony or LG TVs pls? If yes, how did you solve it please??🙏🏻🙏🏻 I cannot find a solution ANYWHERE. :( Thank you!
@ Thanks for the reply. It's Sony A90J doing it. Before I had Denon X2300 and now I have Onkyo RZ50 and it behaves the same. When I had Samsung QLED it behaved normally. For some reason turned off Sony is simply sending "turn on" signal to AVR and after like 5 minutes it sends "turn off" signal to AVR.
I am really torn between choosing the Marantz cinema 30 or the A10h. Cosmetically I love the cinema 30, the Denon design is just getting tired and old. But I’m definitely interested in going the full 13 channels in my dedicated room. With that said, I have no problem buying an outboard amp to mate with the cinema 30. Sound wise if you guys had a preference between the cinema 30 and the A-1 H, which way would you go? All I do is watch movies. I presently own a older Marantz sr 7010 receiver that still works great. I am attracted to the warmth that Marantz offers. But the A10 H is somewhat enticing. What are your thoughts on this.
@ I am in two minds if I was going to upgrade which one I would go for I read a review of the denon 6800 they said it not worth an upgrade from the 6700 if A10 is the same not worth upgrading from the 8500 I have the marantz cinema 40 which in my opinion sounds better than the denon 8500
@@neiltaylor6645Interesting observation, when you say it sounds better do you mean for music, movies or in general? I had an 8500h and I never liked it for music but for movies it seemed better to me than a Marantz 7xxx series which would be equivalent to the Cinema40! I'm looking for a Cinema 30 or A10h and for movies the previous Marantz series seemed very flat to me!
And I thought the X2800 was overkill for my 5.1 system.....😮😮😮 I wish models like the 2800 and 3800 came with aluminum faceplates and control knobs; once an AVR surpasses $1K, it shouldn't be finished with plastic. That's just nonsense.
Did go for the onkyo RZ70, including Dirac live at this price should be a must.
Thanks for sharing
Four subwoofer outputs? The house will definitely be rocking!
For sure!! Thanks for watching
Beast!! Can’t wait to hear it!
We hope you get a chance soon
Looks like a classic Denon powerhouse AVR for serious home theater systems.
Looks like, but is it in fact?
So true
Yep, they got the power, but do they have the grip

Great question but no, it is just two full range channels
Nice build quality on this receiver with a lot of features.
It is, thanks for sharing!
Does this support 9.4.4?
Yes, that would eat up all the channels.
I wish. Sounds like a beauty.
It is!

Would the anthem 1140 be better?
That is another great AVR. Please reach out to our team to discuss which is best for your system. Thanks for watching

If you already own the AVR31 your next move should be audio separates. Thanks for watching

Are these available for lease? I'd love to have it for the few months I have my Netflix subscription.
Sorry, they are not

Sorry, we have not seen that. Try disconnecting your sources from the AVR and see if it still happens and if not connect them back one at a time.

Now I truly see why it's a flag ship AV receiver !! That's impressive!!!
That it is, thanks for watching!
Need Denon to tap into the Aura of their mighty 5803… Dig up that old blue print and create another generational monster.
Haha! That was a beast
i really want the A1H hows the sound between the 2?
The A1H has a lot more guts and dynamics.
That's a meaty AVR for the money!
Yes it is!
¿Cuánto cuesta por favor?
Den Rotel 1580 MKll kann er vom Klang nicht das Wasser reichen. 😉
Sounds like a great all around bang for buck receiver!
It certainly is!
Dang, I was just looking at the specs on this AVR 150 to 260 watts per channel that's insane , this would handle anything you can throw at it !!!
It is a beast!
What model is?
AVR A10H
Better off and cheaper to buy denon 3800 and external 200wpc amps. That 52lb boulder gets hooooot!
That is another good option
One ordered. In Finland we get AVC-A10H.
We hope you enjoy it
Pretty much the same price as the marantz cinema 30 it has more power and more channels driven
That is true, with two different sound profiles too. Thanks for watching

Wow! 52 pounds! What a monster.
It is!
👏🏼👍🏼🏴🇬🇧
Thanks!
@ you’re welcome 🏴🇬🇧
Flagship specs aside. That is the most generic looking AVR. At least team Marantz is putting in some effort aesthetics wise
That is true, this is one focused on a lot of performance for its cost. Thank you for watching
