I need dark mode on map on share location. How?
Once you enable Dark Mode on Facebook Messenger, it should apply to all Messenger settings, including the map on share location. However, it's not possible to turn on or off Dark Mode for individual settings; it's a system-wide change.
My messenger is on dark mode all the time. Even if you turn your messenger to dark mode the map on share location remains too white that makes it harder to distinguish streets. If I am not mistaken there is no way to turn map to dark mode ( google does it perfectly)/ correct me if I am wrong. @@EverydayThings
To my understanding, Facebook Messenger developers have not paid attention to this need. Map in share location is very basic. @@EverydayThings
why i cant turn off dark mode on messenger ios 17.4? i turned it off but its still on dark. when i make phone theme light mode i can turn off but in dark theme its doesnt work any ideas? :D
It sounds like there might be a bug with the Messenger app on iOS 17.4. Here are a few steps you can try:
Make sure your Messenger app is updated to the latest version.
Try toggling the dark mode setting off and on again in Messenger.
Restart your phone to see if that resolves the issue.

@@EverydayThings totaly anoying in light theme i can switch to dark but if i in dark theme i cant change to light wtf:D same with instagram but instagram no option to change mode it makes automatic with apple theme ahh its sucks why i buy new iphone...:D in my old phone is all ok i can switch what i want.
