Honestly, the minute resale-ibility entered into the equation of wether shit is fresh or not, it became less of a culture and more of a commodity/business. Shoes arent stocks, you arent flipping houses, you arent investing in anything, they're fashion/something we're supposed to rock and love. Idk, maybe its just me
I was into sneakers for a few years and honestly for me, I'm not over it, but the hype and resale are just used for temptation. I love sticking to the old reliable and more lowkey kicks. In the end, we wear them, they're gonna get dirty, don't spend a pretty penny just to wear it once or twice just to say you have it.

I live in Chicago and was lucky enough to hit on a pair of MCAs on SNKRS. Didn't keep them but my favorite detail is definitely the heel tab. The embroidered nike air is covered by a thin layer of material, and you can see the outline through it, almost like embossing. A really nice touch.
Air Force 1’s are always good it doesn’t matter if it’s a collab or GR, they’re always good. That ivory snake retro is the best Air Force 1 to come out in years.
My favorite air forces are probably, Swoosh Pack all star weekend (2018) (sail and white), Travis Scott (sail or fossil), and the kith linens (edit: I didn’t even see the linens in the video before typing lol, Richie has some taste I see)
