Really liking the new changes! I think the downtown area has a great sense of foreground and background. The one small thing I would change if I was in your shoes has to do with the row of modulars along the cliff. I would move two of the half baseplate modulars from the cliff area, next to city hall (in the half baseplate dead spaces next to the monorail tracks.) Then I would scoot the modulars along the cliff a half baseplate away from the edge of the table. I worry that in the circulation around the tables, your cafe corners might get bumped, and that small change would allow some more minifig circulation to the new end of the line tram station. Keep of the great work. We appreciate all the effort that goes into the channel!
Looking great. I’m happy to see the Birch bank anywhere in your city 😊 Maybe also try the boutique hotel next to the Parisian Restaurant. Hotel + resto with the pond/lake in front might look good
Nice update Alex! Guess what I did yesterday?! I bought some wood to build my first tables! Gotta come up with a name (🥴🙃) and I think im about ready to start a channel!
@SkyKid002 Honestly, anything! I really like cool MOC builds, city builds, and set builds. I think most people like seeing older sets as well. My favorite (as I own most) are Lego batman! Anything would be welcome, though!
@j2014montgomery thank you for the input! I really liked starwars sets when I was younger however as I've gotten older I've become a little tired of the ships and I also am unfamiliar with all of the lore etc past the first 6 movies so there's a lot I dont even "get" now. But I still collect some of them and I also like castle stuff as well. I'll probably build a city of some type but not sure what direction to take it. I'll probably just start with something basic like the modulars I have but haven't built and then move on to like an amusement park or zoo or something from there. I really do appreciate your interest!
@SkyKid002 I would love to see castle builds! As a kid, my sister and I would build on a Lego table rooms for Teen Titans to go on missions; some of my favorite memories. Castles are bad A!
Love the layout, makes it feel like there's so much more room for growth, one thing though is that diagon alley looks a bit weird being split in two rather than having the one walkway down the middle and I really like the smaller side streets and alleys that can be added to a city to give it a more lived in feel. Then again i might be showing some fanboy bias there as I know they're annoying to incorporate, regardless keep up the good work!
I like the new downtown especially with the town hall where it is, as it overlooks that street with the Harry Potter buildings and the Dave's Bowl Café. I think you should rebuild the hospital 100%. I think maybe reduce the size to 48x32 studs (just like Assembly Square and Natural History Museum) but maybe make it a corner or double corner rather than a side street building. Still looks good!
It looks great! I really like the boutique hotel next to the museum. What about creating a large park beside the airport? Maybe with a gas station. (Comment from my daughter, Abby)
Love it! Your idea to put the RMH above the tracks sounds great. Would you have space in the city for a park? Like with trees benches and squirrels etc.? - you could put the boutique hotel at the edge of this so it’s not so much in an urban area. That might help integrate it better.
I really like the renovation, Alex! My thought process for my own Boutique Hotel (because I love the Spanish style of the architecture but it DOES have a very unique profile) was to build a MOC that has the same external profile as BH, but is internally a set of unique businesses that stretches the whole city block, and terminates in a mirror build of the hotel at the other end of the street with whatever unique thing inside of it. Just a Little Cuba (Little Cubo?) neighborhood-like thing in the city. But those are just my own plans!
the Boutique Hotel needs to be slightly redesigned to be a three sided corner building. In other words a peninsula building. Remove the alliway and extend the shop all the way to the back of the building. This would help placing it as that little shop and its small wall makes it hard to fit next to other modulars.
Agree the hospital will look great on the back drop. You could also add a helicopter on some clear panels over the roof coming in to land with a patient.
Would be cool if you put a park or walking area fitting exactly over the manhole cover that way you can still use it as a manhole while also utilizing the space for downtown
Why not switch the Sanctum for the newer corner one? If you wanted the Corner Garage where the Birch Bank is, why not make a driveway entrance under the shuttle? I like the Hospital idea so it could have a train station stop there.
You know, I think you're right about corner garage. I think that would still work where Birch Bank is. I may end up moving it over there with a small access road.
Looking good.... but i still think you need to bring the tram out from behind all the buildings. Take a look into how European cities have there trams. Mostly they are in the middle of the main streets, serving the area like buses would.
I surprised you didn’t just take the business out of the sanctorium. I think the museum could move out to the airport. Kind of a destination. Fly in and check it out. You should build. Hotel MOC to go by the airport.
Good idea about a MOC hotel by the airport. I think that would be practical. That Sanctum MOC might not live through another rebuild. I may need to rebuild it into a more generic corner modular.
Hey Alex, how about this for an idea, turn that whole level where the airport is and just use it for the Airport, move the airport over to where that empty space is, and you'll have enough room to build a better runway, because having the airport right where it is, is just stupid, so just use that WHOLE area for the Airport, because ever since I 1st started watching your videos, you always have the airport right at the end of that upper level, so how about just use that whole area for the airport only, it would make much more sense doing it that way instead.
Wondering if a person could experiment with smaller rooms for the hospital, it could be comical. In order to reduce the cost of health care, we had to downsize the hospital but not the care. We have a multiple story hospital in my hometown and the space used is really small, the rest is nothing but open areas. While I love LEGO cities, the one thing that burns me on the idea is when the content is more about the building of the city and acquiring new LEGO sets for it instead of also telling stories about its inhabitants. All of the cities that we live in, yes, do change from time to time, but it's more about the people that live in them than it is about the LEGO sets? I hate LEGO. Have extraterrestrials ever visited your city, like BLACKTRON?
I like these thoughts of yours. Maybe it is time to get other themes involved. And a hospital designed to service the specific needs of Mindyapolis is a great idea.
I say rebuild. You always need content and I think you can do a lot more complex things with it. At the very least, not just using all white bricks again.
the problem with wide hospitals are the problems you had. taller hospital will work better in your downtown footprint. needs to have the same philosophy as hong kong. tall not wide
You have a train station in the avengers tower for trains but people using the monorail have to walk to the monorail station 🤔🤔🤔 why is the monorail station not in the tower ??? 😉 You are welcome 🤣😂🤣
It's looking good Alex I have Diagon ally to even tho I not wach Harry Potter movie s. Diagon ally set is a great looking set. For a Lego City. Other wise I wouldent of Goten it. All the build I switched up. But all so keeped them to kinda looks oridganal. One I tournt into a jewellery shop .the dark red one .I tournt into.a Chinese restaurant with up star dining and cook Kitchin arear and. Fresh Lobster tank and roof top dining and other half keeped it prity much to how it was. Ice cream shop book shop I kinda switched the colour s and added a ice cream build on roof for a sign. And the purple orindge one. I tournt into old school choclet factory Shop. Like willy Wanaka type thing as UK is well known for choclet Kandy shop s @ factories I think what I did with changing them is. Creative and. Cool. .vid s on my TH-cam channle to check it out elex. .
Love the idea of the hospital over the train tracks
Thanks, I hope it all works out. Maybe even thinking of adding a small station in it.
Love the row of modulars at the edge of the cliff. They look sooo good.
I am loving that too. So much better than the old look. At least I got that part right.

Thanks, I finally found a groove.

Thanks, I'll try that out. Also, loved your MOCs surrounding Tudor Corner. Amazing!
@@alexnunes thanks 😊 I like having an old town area in the city 😊
I think you made the smart move getting rid of the hospital and reconfiguring your downtown. Looks way better to me.
Nice update Alex! Guess what I did yesterday?! I bought some wood to build my first tables! Gotta come up with a name (🥴🙃) and I think im about ready to start a channel!
Drop a reply. I would love to see another Lego channel!
@j2014montgomery of course! What kind of stuff would you be interested in seeing? What themes do you like?
@SkyKid002 Honestly, anything!

Great progress. I can't wait to see future videos. Reminds me to make a new one myself before major rebuilds.😅😊
Great rebuild Alex., if you don’t like where the boutique hotel is, why not move it to near the hotel and have it next to the botanical gardens.

I would love to see the Metro light in the red train converted to run on the lower train level

Now you just need a bunch of parking lots, then it will look like Phoenix! 😂
Harry Potter Alley should go in the amusement park as park shops for the visitors 😉

Will smaller footprint on the hospital make it taller instead?
You just answered that.
@@DelsynsBrickBuilds Just not sure how tall. It is possible to make it too tall...or is it? lol
@@alexnunes I mean, you have a pretty hard limit with the ceiling. Unless Mindy will let you cut a hole in it to the main floor?... lol
Maybe a "SPACE" station next to the airport?
Oh, man! Now you're talking!
Looking good.... but i still think you need to bring the tram out from behind all the buildings.
Take a look into how European cities have there trams. Mostly they are in the middle of the main streets, serving the area like buses would.
Have you thought about adding the x mansion near the airport? Could act as a hotel like the real life x mansion that doubles as a hotel.
I think it would be cool for the airport shuttle to drop to ground level.
I will definitely give that a try.
I thought the hospital next to the monorail was a good location to integrate the station with the hospital rebuild. I guess that’s not to be
I loved that idea. If the hospital stayed there, then yes, it would. Now the plan is it may have a train station in it. lol
I think boutique hotel might work in the spot where the palace cinema is.
I'll give that a shot. I am not sure if I tried that yet
Birch Bank and Brick Bank owned by the same person secretly he's trying to take everyone's money😂

Double up and mega size the daily bugle. It looks Tiny compared to some of your other skyscrapers
Where is Club ‘X’?… that will add more entertainment in the middle of the city.
Looking great continue building for 2025
Where do you sell in Brazil? I only think to buy abroad.

Hmm, now that is an interesting idea. That would solve the space issue with the airplanes. Thanks for the idea!
Lego 10356!
Why 9v trains not running in the Lego city 😭
I know, I am sad too. Don't worry, they will make a return elsewhere.
@alexnunes Ok
Maybe you could put some airplane hangers by the airport!
