I love that stretch of 49, it is between Bear Valley ( a small town north of Mariposa) and Coulterville. Yes, new bike! I got a 2020 Triumph Rocket 3, and am really digging it.
Sorry, I think that may have been confusing! That was actually me that made the other comment, from a different account. I am having trouble getting good sound on my videos, that is not wind noise. I use a Rode Wireless Go mic, wrapped in foam in my saddlebag. I think it is interference. Do you have any suggestions for capturing the sound of the exhaust, without wind or interference? I use a gopro hero 8 with media mod.
@@justjoe7335 no worries! I haven't been able to fiddle much with Hero 8's, but there could definitely be interference. You'll contend with wind once you're over 50mph, it's more a matter of mitigating it by that speed point. I've seen people (Royal Jordanian being the biggest) use external audio recorders and lav mics tucked in the tail section to catch exhaust notes, but getting that dialed in requires some trial and error 👍 From what I can hear, yours sounds good, maybe some slight wind/buzz... What's the audio settings on the GoPro?
@@MotoKari thanks, the gopro does not have any audio settings when it is in the media mod, that I can see. The Rode Wireless go receiver plugs into the back of the media mod, the transmitter is what I have wrapped in foam in my saddlebag. Thanks for looking, I think I will play around with a lavalier mic, maybe see if I can get it to sound better.

Haven't been on that stretch of 49 before, it looks like a great ride. Did you get a new bike?
