HEY I'M BACK!!! Sorry for kinda disappearing off the face of the Earth, guys. At the start of the year, I had a ton of stuff planned, including my 2k subscriber special, and then a million things happened - work got busy, depression hit me like a truck, and generally, life just got really crazy. And all that kept me from making content for y'all for more than half a year :( but don't worry! I have returned, and I've got some cool stuff I'm cooking up for you guys that I hope to be able to show you very soon! ;)
In the meantime, during my unplanned hiatus, I became a pretty big fan of Ghost, and I've been listening to their music practically nonstop for at least the past couple months. In fact, I'll be attending my first ritual of theirs in a couple of days!! I'm super excited about that :D

Honestly, this is one of my absolute favorite songs, not just that Ghost has released, but ever. The original has an undertone of melancholy for sure, but it's also a bit ominous. This cover definitely ups the melancholy factor, especially with your voice and the way the notes are delivered. Stripping it down to piano like this also brings what is already a sad song down to a very hopeless, desperate place. Very very well-done and emotional cover.
