I was born in seria in 64. The house I lived in was a government house which now occupied by a pyramid looking roof structure. It sure bring back memories.

I lived there for 8 years. I loved this place. Beautiful place with beautiful people. Now I live in Canada. Wish I could go back again. May be Government of Brunei let me live there forever.

Stephen, this brings back memories of my childhood. Born in Panaga hospital, resided in Shell staff housing (F20 House 17) which i believe is all gone now. Left Brunei in 1986, returning to Hong Kong with my family and residing there until this day.

Wow Stephen😱. I left Seria in 1967 after my OSC in St Michaels School. We did not have drones on those days and I never had such an aerial view of Seria. The town has developed a great deal since. Thanks for your efforts - greatly appreciated👍🙏. (FEN/UK)

It's really sad that St Michaels is rapidly deteriorating and abandoned.

I lived just opposite the go-cart ring in Seria. I see the houses there are now gone. What a shame. I loved living in Seria especially with friends like Amy Lim and all my classmates.

Thanks @Stephen Chin for the trip down memory lane. I lived here in 1988. I can still see my primary school St Michael's. I ve been away for 30 years now and I can only imagine Seria now. We used to play those Tamiya cars back then in the Seria plaza... Is Jolibee fast food still there?

Literally a walk down memory lane. I lived in Seria back in the 80s until our family left for our homeland in 1991.
Thanks for the video...though I can only partially recall the places, but I can still recognize my former school (St. Angela's) and where we used to live back then, and the few familiar places we used to frequent back then.
Just curious, is the Seria government clinic still in operation?

    • @chinstephen

Oh yes its still operating as usual..btw where about is your homeland?

I opened up Google Maps on one tab and used it to identify most places and match with what I'm seeing and my memories.

Thanks very much for a trip down memory lane. I was born in KB and studied at St Margaret's school till Primary 6. I left Seria/Brunei when I was 12 years old, more than 4 decades ago and have not been back for at least 3. Being older now, I have a greater appreciation for history and memories.
I used Google Maps in conjunction with your video to identify some places. But was suprised to discover Google Street View isn't available. Anyone know why?
