Hello, There is a discotheca at thr resort. I went during Covid and at the time it was closed. If you are planning on visiting I would recommend asking if they are open now!!

Probably a dumb question I know lol but I been to Playa Pilar about 10 times and I seen new resorts being built around the surrounding area. I usually stay at Hotel Tryp and Hotel Playa Coco (just got to hop on a bus and you're on you're way to playa pilar lol)
Hello, it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach from the resort. You can also get there by car and it’s only about a 5 minute drive and well worth it. The reason you do not see many people in the video is because I tried to video in the morning or times when there would not be guests around as some do not like to be on video and I respect their privacy especially being that the video is on TH-cam. Thank you for watching!!
They have all the regular Cuban excursions. However due to Covid the excursions are limited. If you want to visit Havana, there is a plane that takes off from Cayo Coco. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you for watching!!

Loved the video I am from Canada and am planning to be back in Cuba next year to celebrate my 50th Birthday but i understand there is a state of unrest in Cuba right now over Resorts getting the food and the Cubans are getting nothing so if things don't calm down we may wait to come down or just look at Mexico or Dominican even though my heart is still in Cuba after my first trip a few years back to Varadero. Are things calming down any do you know? By the way this place looks amazing other then the fact it looks like you have to travel a bit to get to a beach with water access that does not require a boardwalk and a set of stairs to get into the water.

I think most of us are aware of the way they live. However, I know many locals and they have been struggling more without many tourists there during the pandemic.
