- There is no contetant in AsNTM who survived after being in bottom two 3 times, but it didn’t happen to Stephanie, contestant from cycle 1. She was so lucky that she was saved 5 times in bottom in, wanna know why? Check the video!

I remembered Tyra Banks was the guest judge in Season one Finale and asking the judges in ASNTM, something like, "Why is this girl in the top 3 if you all don't like her very much?" And the judges went silence.
I used to watch ANTM a lot and I remembered if a contestant has been in bottom 2 third time in a row, she would get eliminated.
Because they need viewers from Philippines. 🤣🤣🤣

Well, She's actually a working model still, compared to a lot of the girls.
She's getting booked internationally and is based between Hong Kong and New York.

Stephanie's 5 BTM2 placements were iconic 😂😂 but I love her, she is very modelesque, and what makes me love her is her personality. She is so sweet, and she is one of the only few girls who stood up for Helena and Trang when they were being backstabbed. She is like the mother of the house.

Had a colleague once who knows Steph's cousin who told her that Steph is always confused when she place bottom 2 because during filming the feedback she received from photographers are always good
since ntm show mostly not existed anymore, some already spill that they can choose whatever photo to be your 'best' photo, she clearly set up to be the bottom 2 queen back in her cycle

Steph is really a very good model. She is versatile and really has that angelic face. Despite her very commercial look, she still rocked some photoshoots such as the zodiac and the wwf. I think they just saw Steph as a diamond in the rough that just needs polishing plus she is very brave as a young mom. But of course Jessica is also my favorite winner of AsNTM for sure even if i'm filipino.
Her zodiac photoshoot was my favorite.
Stephannie is still modeling till today and she's awesome. Jessica is killing many photoshoots, you can see on her IG.
As they said in the final EP, she already had the face, and I think that her face always saved her from elimination. some of Steph's photos especially the episode were Sofia is eliminated and when Helena was eliminated. There were some judges favoring her. And they saved her many times because they still believe that she still can do more.
But Jessica really killed it.

I get the feeling that the show decided to keep Steph despite landing bottow two for many times since the huge fan base comes from Philippines. I'm a Filipino but I don't think she deserved to be on top 3 either. Helena, Aastha, and Sofia were way better and had a chance to be on top 3 alongside Kate and Jessica.

@@freshline2634 I feel like they planned ahead before the show aired. It's strategic planning. Most Filipinos hunger for recognition, with all honesty. So when they found out if someone has won a competition and/or gained such recognition and is a Filipino, they will celebrate as if they're part of someone else's journey and cheer for him/her. For instance, Filipinos are a huge fan base in pageantry, particularly Miss Universe. I do have a feeling that the producers use this as an opportunity to gained more viewers.

I think Jodilee Pendre was always on point and super consistent, she gives it all every week but the problem tho is that the last/ finale season she just a bit outtaken by Sheena due to her feet. That's it. She is the most deserving to win but the the stars didn't allign in her that night.

I'd say, I don't mind her surviving those bottom 2s except for Helena's elimination only, this one was really shocking. Steph had tons of potential tho, good for her becoming a runner-up!

Sofia has a killer body out of all the girls. A lil bit of energy and training she'll definitely a threat to the competition.

Nah it wasnt really the reason why they kept her in the competition. They knew that most of the viewers come from the philippines thats the reason why they even brought her to the finals. Thats a dirty tactic from the producers cos they could not lose profits by removing her who had massive supports from her home country. For me she would always be the weakest link among the girls. Shes beautiful but i didnt see her as a potential winner. If only trang could speak proper english, things would have been different.

On Steph's 2nd bottom placement... She already had 5 strong photos under her belt. So there's no way she will be eliminated just because it's her 2nd time in the bottom. Her 3rd 4th and 5th bottom placement... Let's just say, the other girls stumbled harder, plus the fact that steph's photo isn't the worst at all. Sometimes I feel like they put her in the bottom to push her to her potential. To be fair... Even if you look closely at Steph's photos... They looked decent..compared to the ones who went home, their photos were train wrecked. The only train wrecked photos Steph has produced were the episodes 2 and that episode where Helena went home. And we all know they will never gonna let go of Steph on Ep 2 because her Ep 1 was excellent. And Helena's photo is just the worst.
Stephanie survived 5 bottom 2 eliminations and finished as 1st runner up at the finals. Only a Filipina made it in the Next Top Model franchise history.

Top 13: there are other girls with worst photos than hers. Namely, Melissa, Filantropi, and Jee.
Top 6 (Big Red Dress): It should have been Helena and Sofia at the bottom 2. I don't know why the judges and the other fans hate Stephanie's Red Dress photo, but I think it's stronger than Helena and Stephanie. She did something different.
Top 6 (Underwater): Stephanie's pose is better than some of the other girls. Her face needs to be stronger though, but I still think Helena had the worst performance this week.
Her pictures in Top 5 and Top 4 both deserves to be in the bottom 2, but at the end of the day, Aastha and Sofia had performed worse than her in those photoshoots.

She got probably one of the best international career post AsNTM, esp. in terms of appearing in fashion shows as she got one of the best walk across the board.
Her face is very editorial, not just plain beauty shot and I guess that what made her stand-out.

But as an Top Model fan, they should ended already her journey on Top 6, (especially when she appeared with Helena). Personally, I like some of her photographs (Little India, Zodiac, Boxing, Tresémme & Environment photoshoot). Also, I like her professionalism & personality on the set, photoshoot, attitude & her strength WALK. But in my unbiased opinion, Top 5 or 6 was a good rank for her because Aastha & Helena was both an great & strong competitor (especially Helena).

stephanie is very lucky. she got bottom 2 5 times and she still managed it into the top 3!
She has such a stunning face and figure, very fresh and current appeal, and so likeable that it did not take much for her to go far. Some things just come naturally that even hardwork and talent can't beat. There were better performing models in this season but lacked the charm and it factor that Stephanie had. It's the same case with Ayu Gani and Maureen Wroblewitz, you just know even if they don't exert any effort they're gonna go far.
I like steph...but Trang, Aastha,Helena and even Sofia deserved to stay ..

trang was having a hard time to comunicate, I think thats why she get home earlier even tho she has that model material.
I think the truth is they always put filipinas in the top 3,,coz they know that filipinos has best fan based in the world, to think that Stephanie is always in the bottom 2 but still managed to enter finals, that is quite unfair to some girls who just made to the bottom 2 once and got seldom mistakes , they're doing that for the rating purposes of the show,,, but with jodilly, monika, adela or maureen they are really deserving to enter finals and perhaps should have won like monika or jodilly.

You may remember steph as b2 queen but girl, even if uve been bottom for 10 weeks straight while ur photo is MUCH BETTER than the other bottom 2 contestant, you gotta pack ur things. I really think she should have been eliminated if it weren't for helena's photo, I did examine hers and helena, and I see that helena had the better shot but like the judges stated, that she should have not crossed beyond that specific theme in that photoshoot. But with that fluke, I say that the judges were fair with the next eliminations. To be honest, I liked aastha's photo, when the picture was translated, I have seen the passion in her body but not in her face, unlike steph's which she had passion with the body and face. With sophia, it was a fair elimination.

On the photoshoot we're Aastha was eliminated, I agree that hers was stronger than Stephanie because of her posing & the angle. But I feel that Stephanie was constantly saved because of her FACE.
