    Landrel:
    Your Vid is by Far the Best Demo of DIY Case Cleaning/Media-Separaration I've seen on YT, and I've watched Dozens upon Dozens, this last yr.
    Great Design, great process and Really Great YT Video Production.
    I.E.: No Music/No BS/No Babbling or other Extraneous BS.
    Really Good Job, Well Done........
    My Hat is off to you.
    I will construct your design soon. I've been out of LR Precision Shooting for a few yrs and your vid will help get me back into it at low cost!

    Absolute genius. This is so much simpler and more effective than anything else I've seen, including my own. I have a Craftsman drill free from the dump, the attendant separates out tools people can use and puts them right where you walk or back up to dump. It turns out the drills don't give out, the batteries do. I got two Chinese batteries off the internet that do a fantastic job, so a tip to everybody. Thanks again, just pure inspiration.

    Ty I have a very similar set up , I used a wiper motor . The motor get real hot. So I have to keep a eye on it . It also requires a large 12 volt battery and wires , and has to be charged . I like your drill holder. It seems a lot easier . I'll have to convert mine over to a drill . Thanks

    did similar used skateboard wheels instead and a corded 3/8 drive drill and used a large band clamp to hold drill and made a sliding adjustment for drill works great. one more thing I took two saw blades one on each side of bucket to keep bucket from cracking

    • @bobstark4020

      Hey Richard, i had the same thought and then i remembered something about acid removing rust or corrosion. Maybe the acid in the lemon juice is the trick.

    People choose to clean them for two hours in a wet Tumblr but it’s mainly to get the inside the case and the primer pockets clean they are clean in 15-20 minutes in a wet Tumblr

    A buddy just gave me a bucket of brass so this vid will be useful

  • @courtneycarter575
    @courtneycarter575 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    This may be a silly question (or maybe I missed part of the explanation), but what is the purpose of having one bucket inside another? It would seem like you would lose some of the tumbling ability if the inner bucket does not rotate just like the outer bucket. Have you had any problems with the inner bucket sliding around in the outer?

    • @nikoricci2456
      @nikoricci2456 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He has holes drilled in the other bucket and it would leak

    • @celicablues
      @celicablues 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you can easily remove the tumbling chamber to remove the brass, clean, whatever. It would be more inconvenient with a drill attached to it

    • @gerrymatheson4020
      @gerrymatheson4020 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Friction fit is tight enough to keep it from slipping.

  • @LandrelBrown
    @LandrelBrown  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Of you only had one bucket it would leak because of the holes drilled and it would be hard to fill and empty..

  • @roonbooks3227
    @roonbooks3227 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    nice....i bet if you slowed the revs down...it would clean faster....the brass would then rise to the top center then fall from the 12 oclock position...the falling is what will create space between the cases and then hit at 6 oclock
