Trish is some kind of pagan goddess. The Gaia of music. I was absolutely fucked when I heard that she died when I was around 6 months new to their music. Though my friend told me she was in a cabin in France and got too cold and became ill, and I felt like that was oddly suiting. Nature took her down. Wasn’t some modern triviality that took her, but the cold wind. Thankfully we have so much of their music to dig in to, and the mix tapes of music Trish loved were an absolute gold mine. Peace
I can't be sure but I think she and James were laid up in maybe Singapore or Bangkok on the flight back from Sydney at the end of the Australia tour which is maybe where she might have caught the flu. No matter what, it is heartbreaking that this vital, supremely talented and by all accounts utterly wonderful and lovely person left us like this.
And this was something she rejected, the mind boggles. She must have had a complete quiver of songs for us, I wish she could've sent them all, she was so special
We are going to get Spell Blanket album full of broadcast previously unreleased demos and also Distant Call album with demos of already released tracks.
@@AphexHenry my god she is beautiful. I want every single sing that was ever graced with her voice... This was one more, I'll take your suggestion.... She was - actually really, musically speaking - IS beautiful. Always will be...
I love the way she sings "one by one, two by two, three by three." Such an alluring piece.
Incredible vocal harmonies. Trish Keenan was a musical genius.
Utter brilliance. the harmonies are exceptional, as was Trish.

Soundcloud has a limit for uploads unless you subscribe to their service. James isn't subscribed so had to cull a few.
It's gonna be released on Spell Blanket album
