- The video was recorded during the month of June at the Bhaktivedanta Swami Gurukula School in Murwillumbah, near the eastern coast of Australia.
The three students interviewed, age 17, are talking from their perspective about the advantages of being involved into a school with strong spiritual foundations.

I am entering into my first year in the teaching profession this year. I also have a profound connection with the Hare Krsna philosophy and have been fortunate enough to have a short stay on the Hare Krsna Farm where this school is located. The experiences from these students was a real pleasure to listen to and has given me some valuable insight into what is truly important in the educative process. Hearing the students compare their relationship with other students and staff members as that of a family is something very powerful, and is an aspect all too often overlooked in schooling. Research in the field of education clearly shows that the quality of student-teacher-parent relationships really defines the standard of learning that occurs. I hope one day to work with this school and to share in their simple yet embracive philosophy. Thank you very much for sharing!

The main issues for youth in aus are... compulsive drinking, too much promiscuous behaviour, lack of respect f6pr elders, even tradition. And an empty modernistic narcissism. Thats why schools like this, and christian schools etc are very good to help them with some structure and knowledge of the importance of self discipline , respect for others, knowledge of the spiritual world.
