2v2 3v3 and 4v4 fights are one of the rarest but most fun content in the game, if there was some way to instigate that or some type of lms with clans but you actually have to risk your own items it would be popular IMO

Do you remember in 2005 when whip and gmaul special attacks could only either hit 0 or your max? And when you could pre-load a special attack by clicking the bar the same tick that you kill a mob. So people used to go to world 18 west greens after killing a skeleton to pre-load a special attack, then let the bar fill, and get ready to fuck shit up. At the time, you could animation stall with the dance emote. If you weren't ready with protect melee, or extremely attentive to people doing dance emotes, there was a chance you'd get fucked like a pig. It was actually how I got my first ever whip pk which I sold for 12.5 mil. There was some guy skulled killing greens and I 3 hit maul'd him before he could protect item.

The issue with multi scene is it’s always a battle of “how many more people can I bring than them” type thing. Best way to start it out is how the actual clans formed throughout rs history, for example having team fights same gear 10s, 7s, 20s, etc. then since the big things are winning those 20v20s (structured) usually f2p gear btw, everybody puts their best 20 in, and there’s a ton of people involved interested etc, and it ends up where warring comes into play because there’s so many clans competing and involved. So like Sunday warring trips, 5 clans show up with like 50-100ppl and it isn’t about who has the 20 best, it’s about who stacks people the best/has best caller, who pushes at the right time and defends properly etc. this also then evolves into p2p warring trips. Gotta go back to the basics and revive clanning/warring scene in f2p to have any hope at this staying consistent. I was a member of foe way back in the day and IR a few years ago, it’s super engaging and fun, they have events and stuff too, but honestly gives you something to look forward to on rs every Sunday. If I were you I’d just start a clan like one of them and you’ll see how enjoyable it will be, get other streamers/content creators involved in starting their own clan also. I’m sure everybody involved will love it for what it is. It becomes more about being a good clan and less about disgracefulness and cheating like ROT.

Oda, what you gotta do is make a PvP tournament of 3v3 and 5v5 brackets where teams buy in, no ruckery, good content creators. Inspires jagex to make a similar game mode where these kind of multi fights could be fun & good pvp for just friends messing around and sweaty ranked players.
i think something that might make it more interesting is differnt methods of fighting instead of barrage clumping. Like imagine ur whole team using the fastest weps in the game ( darts i think?) and then like seercul bow specs or mass msb/dbow specs...idk something like that
