If anyone is having an issue with textures that the UVMap has been messed up then open up the model in blender again and tab in to Edit Mode and select all vertices and hit spacebar and type "Edge Split" and hit enter. After this export model again as obj and convert to new m2 file and the issue has been solved
Thanks :) Chest, legs, waist etc is submesh of the character so you can pretty much only make head and shoulder since that is separated from the character. It is possible to make chest and all that but its handled differently and its very hard to add

Hello, I had the same problem when i made my first model. I think the mistake i did was that i did not rename the material. The material needs to have same name as texture but without the .jpg or .png extension. And it must be 6 characters long or less. Longer than 6 characters will not work as far as i know. So for example you can name material tex1 save the texture as tex1.png and convert png to blp. Hopefully that helps
It could also be that the path you put texture in is not correct. You can see the path if you open the .m2 file with any text editor and search for .blp. the data is not readable but you can read the path to the blp texture atleast so use ctrl + F and search for .blp

Thank you very much, I did a PMQ patch in the client and the weapon don't show up in the game, I can equip it, maybe my obj_to_m2 is not the right one. Oh, not succed but learn a lot. :)
Please, Open up your patch and show me all foldes and files. Use MPQ Editor to make an actuall patch or make a folderpatch. Thats up to you but take a screenshot and upload to imgbb or something and i can help you. And yes, It could be that you choosed wrong objtom2 converter
I almost give it up, but you bring me back, here is the img: ibb.co/c4uMp7. the model did show up in wmv, but when I added it to game. the item entry 60000 not works, 60001 works, 60003.not work. I did a 36 slot bag and it works. Hope I can fix it . Thanks very much. You are the best.
i guess warmane is a private server? Well, i believe it should be legal. Private servers usually dont care what you do in the patch unless you steal their work. But if you do it on retail you can get banned if blizzard find out. But they will never find out. So you are safe to play around with model editing both on private server and retail wow.

But you have to use a rig and use the timeline to animate but im not really sure how to import the animation but it is possible

You mean that the icon appear as a question mark?
The model icon appear as question mark for me too. Its because you need to make a Custom MPQ Patch for melee fix. I have another video for that
