Actually sounds really good... nice to see everyone again and Gyp is perfectly okay for having only been a hobby musician for many years...Hanoi Rocks rules! 😎🤟
Man who cares if Gyp is not playing like a 20-year old pro and who cares if Andy makes some mistakes? This is ridiculously good like someone said above. These guys fucking rock! I really hope they have the desire to write new songs, release them and tour!
Andy was out of his face. Michael said to him at one point "please don´t pull your pants down, nobody wants to see it" 😂 So I don´t think they are going to do a tour.
@@hellsinkirocks8942 Ahhhh... but Andy's been out of his face for how long? Since forever? I am pretty sure he was just as much out of his face on the press conference, on each and every time they met to discuss the reunion, to rehearse, to talk, to mix Oriental beat, etc... I am sure that Michael knows that this is just how Andy is (or has been) for ages. I have seen some interviews and shows and it seems like Andy was out of his face also on Hanoi 2002-2009... wasn't he? The other day I just listened to a bootleg from that era (2003 I guess) where Michael was talking to the crowd and Andy kept interrupting him and calling "bullshit" on what Michael was saying... and then at one point Michael screams "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" and Andy keeps mumbling someting... It is hysterical funny... I have heard that Ramones used to fight onstage but I got to tell you that that was the only live recording of a band ACTUALLY doing that onstage FOR REAL that I know of. And then a minute later Michael said something again and Andy did the same thing (!!!). Seriously, it is unbelievable... And you know what happened? They just kept playing... And they didn't break up... I think that Michael saying "don't put your pants down" to Andy was just Michael dealing the best he could with Andy at the time. Michael also did the "translate" joke quite a few times, one time at the press conference and one time at the show... From what I understand, Michael's problem with Andy is that Andy doesn't see him like an equal and doesn't recognize his songwriting ability. He has said that in quite a few interviews recently... Musically Andy's playing is somehow still killer. Don't ask me how he can play that good being out of his face but he can... I just saw Slash live recently and Slash is sober, articulated etc but his playing is completely unrecognizable, he is playing a hundred notes per second, sounding awful. Andy, on the other hand, sounds great... But yeah being out of his face is not good... but who knows? Maybe the possibility of gettiing Hanoi together could be an incentive for Andy to clean up his act, or at least to slow down a bit and keep it "under control"? All four guys -- Andy, Michael, Sami and Nassse -- have released great solo albums very recently. I can only imagine what kind of magic they could create if they decide to colaborate on songwriting...
@@ludurigan So true. I saw him earlier this year & you could say he had had something stronger than milk (he was only able to sing couple of the songs, rest was done by the other guitar player, nothing wrong with the playing though). Remember how the band with the members from Foo Fighters never happened, because... well you know. I base my theory on what I saw that night. I have never seen Michael been frustrated on a stage, but you could see that he was biting his tongue more than once. Every time Andy was trying to speak Michael cut him of by talking over him. Andy invited himself to the birthday bash. He was not invited originally. Even before the bash Michel said that this is one night only. Then again some times dreams do come true, so fingers cross.
This is a pretty wild idea. I bet it has never crossed on anyones mind. Should it be sponsored by Finlandia Vodka and perhaps the sauna could be used as the backstage? But Haloo Helsinki 🤔don´t know about that. Then again maybe it is easier for rest of the world to come to Finland during the summers festival season and see all the above and more.
@@hellsinkirocks8942 Wow man this sponsorship idea is fantastic! That would be perfect. It's a win-win situation. Do you reckon that Finlandia Vodka is big enough to do that, to invest money in something like that? I would do that in a heartbeat if I were them and if I had the budget to do so... Hallo Helsinki seems to be a very pop band but they have some nice guitars and pretty catchy songs. They also seem to have a strong appeal among younger audiences despite the fact that they sing in Finnish. I was checking an youtube video of them and it was full of non-Finnish people saying how much they love them etc... I guess you might know some other Finnish bands (?) that could join a tour like that... Maybe Lordi hahahaha, I don't know man! I would definitely take Dave Lindholm as an opener and also try to have Sofia Zida, Janaitis and Dimi Dallas to play on a smaller stage!
@@ludurigan I think Fiinlandia could pull it of, since Finlandia vodka has been involved in number of global promotional campaigns like in 2002 Finlandia appears as "The Official Vodka of James Bond" for "007 Die Another Day"and in 1999-2001 they sponsored McLaren F1 team. Would it be good idea in a long run, you know fins & alcohol? Check out the beginning of Skid Row´s making a mess video, especially the last reason why Eric loves Finland & I think Bruce agrees on this one th-cam.com/video/FyQM7-bte40/w-d-xo.html 😆Did you know that Finnish dairy company Valio did have plans to use Lemmy to promote their dairy products in Europe? Sadly the bastard died before the promotion started, but check out the clip they did 22 days before his death 🤘Have nothing against Haloo Helsinki, just not my cup of tea (to me rock n roll should sound dirty, sweaty & boozy). Finnish bands (& songs): Peer Günt - Backseat, Melrose - Rich Little Bitch, LOS BASTARDOS FINLANDESES - Motor Rock Meltdown, Rhino Bucket (yes the singer is a Finn) - Beat to Death Like a Dog , does Megadeth count since Kiko lives here and Dave's ancestors were Finns?
This is ridicuolusly good. No Hollywood band can match this.
These guys were the role models to 80's rock
Pexa Viitanen We would not have Guns & Roses or Motley Crue . Hanoi Rocks we’re their template of how they wanted to be.
I'm especially happy with the way Nasty seems comfortable with all of it, looking at Andy and interacting with him, just like they used to.

Brings me back to ‘82 band is tight! They look like they are enjoying it . Love to 🇫🇮
Combine age of 300 years. And it's cool. Happy birthday Mike!
greatest band ever.
Tämä oli aikoinaan Hanoi Rocksin keikkojen avausbiisi

@@hellsinkirocks8942 Andy’s wife left him, he might be a little shaken at that. Acting out is his way if he’s upset.

AMEN!
“Boulevard of Broken Dreams”, that was so awesome !!! Micheal should bleach and frizz his hair up again, like old times, that was awesome.

Ain't there no promoters willing to do a Finnish Rock Fest to tour the world? Get Haloo Helsinki, The 69 Eyes, Hanoi Rocks...
