When Megan came back after the trial, she was a changed person, and she wanted to show people what she went through. The butterfly symbolizes a new beginning, like the snake. Now since she is independent she is able to make the kind of music she wants no limitations. When she was under a label she was more commercial, she had to rap about what they wanted her to. So its basically the journey of a butterfly, how it moves from being a caterpillar and then flourishing and become what it is, a butterfly. So I think shes trying to show us that shes letting go of her old self, like with the weight loss and the success and focus on who she is now ❤.
