These guys are great at pop songs with feeling, real human popular from the heart songs. Rod Allen was a great vocalist, & Eddie Mooney is the perfect one to fill his shoes. RIP Rod & Rock On Eddie!
Technically perfectly covered. Excellent. But it will never reach Scott's - aka Noel Scott Engel - dark full baritone and the special unique sound of the Walker Brother's original "Sun aint gonna shine". But otherwise I do like the Fortunes e.g. "Here it comes again" and unforgettable first hit of 1965: "You've Got Your Troubles".
No one can come close to Scott Walker and the Walker Brothers version of the 60’s. Scott’s voice and the music are incomparable!
The Walker Bros were so great.....every time I hear one of their songs I recall those carefree days just before Uncle Same called me in 66
Brilliant Eddie hard song to do well done.
The Fortunes always a great band

I'm a big Fortunes fan, but Scott Walker was one of the finest singers of his generation, and beyond, a decent effort though.

The Walker Brothers version was a cover of the Frankie Valli single from 1965.
It is all very good, but that synthetic organ sound spoils it.
