I had to go back to their video introducing the album and as you said,they're afraid of time and being chased by it. Bangchan explained that Chronos is the god of time in Greek mythology and Kronosaurus was one of the most fearful dinosaur in Australia,so they combined the two.

N/S is my favorite street version. Can’t get over the XO dance. And Chronosaurus is such a hidden gem. The original title was Time Beast but Changbin wanted something different. You guys are pretty spot on, they combined kronosaurus (a whale dinosaur) with the god of time Chronos. They’ve only preformed it a fan meeting. This song and Phobia are two of their older songs that I would love if they brought back to preform live!!

Victory song is so dangerous to watch at concerts bc Han and Chan alway lift up their shirts at their respective parts. Well Han usually does it on the last day if they do like 2 or 3 days at the same venue bc he's a tease like that. But yeah, it's very dangerous for stays health hahah.
N/S is one of my favorite songs, I sing along with it every time it comes on. I really love the part with Changbin and Felix going back and forth. Gives me shivers! One thing about the Victory Song performance - it says it's a performance video, but you don't actually get a ton of the choreo - just a little bit like you would in an MV. Plus, Changbin and Seungmin (if you noticed lol) were not taking part in the choreo as they had injuries at the time. Changbin hurt his ankle and Seungmin his back. I know you've said you plan to go back thru dance practices later - there is a Victory Song dance practice (takes place outdoors!) and it does have all of them dancing. I'm sure you'll love it when you watch it! Chronosaurus is a special song for me - I actually didn't like it when I first heard it (watched the mv). I don't know if it was the MV itself that put me off or what. But I didn't take it off my playlist, I just kept listening to it and wouldn't skip it. It's now among my most favorite as I really love how low Changbin's voice goes in it. I guess I find it so interesting that it was a song I wasn't really into at first, but now I absolutely adore it. In the Album intro, they talked about Chronosaurus - they took Chronos the god of time and combined it with Kronosaurus, the most feared dinosaur that once roamed Australia to talk about the Fear of time. The track for Chronosaurus was actually provided by an outside producer, I think it's one of very few that they didn't make and didn't make any changes to (at least they told the producer that they were going to take it with no changes (producer said in an interview), I don't know if Chan made any tweaks in it later on) Edited to add... I started this comment when I started watching it well over an hour ago... and finally finishing it (I was working... heh) I see so many other posts that gave the same info, so sorry for saying what others were faster at commenting with! But leaving what I had... lol
After each reaction at least one part of a song (or some weird mash up) gets stuck in my head the next day. Today my brain has done nothing but "OXOXOX' 🤣 Not going to lie we didn't even notice 😭. I'll have to watch it back through again to see. I'm glad the dance practice has all of them doing the choreo then. We do plan on getting into those. At one point Changbin asks himself if time is gold or a beast so I always think of Chronosaurus as the beast of time lol Chronosaurus has to be one of my favourite skz songs, it's so unique and I relate a lot with the topic. Also it has one of their best bridges.

Also, I think this was where Felix got his first proper verse since they debuted and, I was just so happy for my baby lol. He definitely has my favourite performance on his song. Yes, the panting at the end of N/S is them clowning Han as usual. They still do it sometimes, but during a certain period, they did it a LOT. And this was that period. If/when you relisten to N/S, keep an ear out for I.N's moaning near the end. Unfortunately, you were commenting during that bit this time, so I think it was missed, but it's one of the most hilariously iconic parts of this song, so it's worth making sure you get to hear it eventually. "How did Chan convince him to do that in a studio in front of witnesses?" is an ongoing fandom joke. It's a small thing, but beyond all the obvious things to love about N/S, I've always liked that they wai at the very end. They were in Thailand, and I think that was a sweet gesture of respect. Lee Know inherited WJ's "Red light, green light, swag. Bye or wassup, man" line in N/S, and his delivery always cracks me up. If/when you stream this on any audio streaming platform, you'll hear the ot8 version (every nine-member version that got an ot8 updates, which is virtually everything, now provides the ot8 version automatically; the original versions were removed, even if you access them through the old albums' listings). I envision his facial expression every time I hear the sass. The F*ck-You-MAMA-2020 version of Victory Song is beyond epic. It was such a blatant middle finger to MAMA and their BS -- and it was a very clear declaration of intent for the upcoming Kingdom competition it heralded. It's so iconic that it's now been integrated into the version they perform during the concert tour, instead of the original. It gained...man, iirc, we were somewhere in the 30+ millions of views. And then mnet got hacked several months ago, and a lot of high-view-count videos from different groups were deleted. The most targeted group was SKZ, who had pretty much all of their most popular works wiped out. That includes not just Victory Song, but also things like the full version of God's Ddu-du Ddu-du and basically all other full versions of SKZ-only Kingdom performances. And mnet not only hasn't restored the videos or views -- they've never even acknowledged the hack of the deletions in the first place (they're called "msnake" and "msh1t" for valid reasons). Anyway, you can no longer go watch the legitimate version of the performance. Luckily, a fan has a backup posted; it even includes the separate Triangular Fight stage (between SKZ, ATZ, and TBZ members) at the end. That video is here: th-cam.com/video/SsBtJSVdmhM/w-d-xo.html. And I do recommend watching it, as elements of it reappear in SKZ. Without this foundation knowledge, you won't understand things like Hyunjin's evolution into his MAMA 2021 performance, weaponry jokes in SKZ Code, and so forth. The Victory Song Performance Video is obviously the representative video -- the de facto MV -- for this song. However, it doesn't include either an uninterrupted look at the awesome choreo...or all the members doing the choreo at all. Changbin and Seungmin were both injured at the time, particularly Seungmin, so even though both of them do solo shots and a few low-movement bits, neither is in the actual choreo stuff. There are only seven members in those bits. To see all nine, you'll need the dance practice, and it _is_ worth seeing eventually. It will also show WJ and Felix's spin move (that "corkscrew") a bit better. This concept is integral to SKZ. You'll encounter it again. The lightstick is literally named Nachimbong because of this theme, it's that important to their origin. Nachimbong (more SKZ wordplay: "compass" [nachimban] + "rod" [bong]) contains "a compass without direction"/"directionless compass," tying this theme forever to SKZ. We even got a wild and wandering map at one point that took us all the way up through the era change in Levanter (where you will see the compass/directions theme prominently). Continuation and progression of thematic elements like this and others is why it's easier to fully understand each album, each trilogy, and the overall discography when listening to each entire album in order. Without the chronological movement, a lot of the lyrical context and connection kinda gets lost. So as you go through things this first round and aren't listening to every song on every album in order, it might help to keep in mind that when you notice seemingly random little repeated elements like mentions of compasses/directions or time -- there's a very good chance it's not actually random, and that instead you're catching hints of the album and/or trilogy arc. Ok, but "Time-asaurus" is pretty much spot on. It's Chronos (time/the god) + Kronosaurus (the Oceanic dinosaur). The original name of this song was "Time Beast" -- so literally, yeah, "Time-asaurus." Someone else already explained the clock times to you, so I won't. But I'm lmao at your attempts to read the clockfaces. 😂
Yess I finally remembered something right 🤣🤣! I just went to the MV and listened to it 3 times to find it but when I DID 🤣💀! Thank you for telling us to go back an listen for the moaning haha. We have many of the OT8 versions on our phones now of the songs we've listened to. I listen through spotify so I'll have to go back through and listen for Lee Know's part. His washboard abs are a common occurrence now we're more excited when he wears shirts that doesn't show his abs but hints of it ( you should watch KCON 2022 SKZ and of course other groups as well but SKZ was the closing act and it was fabulous) 8:01 is Stay's birthday. they have a song with the title 0325 but I'm not so sure about the rest as I'm a baby Stay myself. Very good guess -- "N/S" does indeed stand for North/South! Yeah, you're already missing several vids (like My Side, Rock, some numbered Mixtapes, etc), so I'm actually curious along with the other commenter who asked what list you're using to find MVs. Obviously a few things are bound to get overlooked, and certainly that applies to stuff without videos, but this early in there have already been quite a few that don't seem to have been mentioned on whatever resource you're using, so it's possible that you have an inadequate list and we could provide you a more accurate one.
My Side and Rock were definitely missed. I know that 19 is around this era as well so we will get to that one. The Mixtapes we plan on putting in one reaction together. We had initially skipped those because #1 was missing and we didn't understand the names until you guy gave us more information 🥰. One thing about the Victory Song performance - it says it's a performance video, but you don't actually get a ton of the choreo - just a little bit like you would in an MV. Plus, Changbin and Seungmin (if you noticed lol) were not taking part in the choreo as they had injuries at the time. Changbin hurt his ankle and Seungmin his back. I know you've said you plan to go back thru dance practices later - there is a Victory Song dance practice (takes place outdoors!) and it does have all of them dancing. I'm sure you'll love it when you watch it!
Chronosaurus is a special song for me - I actually didn't like it when I first heard it (watched the mv). I don't know if it was the MV itself that put me off or what. But I didn't take it off my playlist, I just kept listening to it and wouldn't skip it. It's now among my most favorite as I really love how low Changbin's voice goes in it. I guess I find it so interesting that it was a song I wasn't really into at first, but now I absolutely adore it. In the Album intro, they talked about Chronosaurus - they took Chronos the god of time and combined it with Kronosaurus, the most feared dinosaur that once roamed Australia to talk about the Fear of time. The track for Chronosaurus was actually provided by an outside producer, I think it's one of very few that they didn't make and didn't make any changes to (at least they told the producer that they were going to take it with no changes (producer said in an interview), I don't know if Chan made any tweaks in it later on)

This song is my second favorite skz song, but my love for it is really different than my live for Voices. Like Voices, I love the song overall and the lyrics ! But for Chronosaurus I don't care about the lyrics (not that they aren't important I just ignore them) and like during the song I'm always like this part is my favorite, no this one my favorite. Like the chorus ! The second verse ! The bridge ! Chan's voice ! Two of them singing ! The drums before the last chorus ! There are so many good parts in this song !

In all good jest: I love Chronosaurus. The eerie music is such a vibe and the melodies are beautiful. My favourite line is Linos "Watch out watch out getting closer", because he really uses his gritty sound (as opposite to his beautiful falsettos) and I love that.
It's probably already explained in the comments, but Chronosaurus is explained by Changbin as the Time Beast, who's running after Stray Kids. I've seen people point out that Woojin is last (as he was the oldest in SKZ) in the line-up and I.N is first, like the Time Beast will get to Woojin first and I.N last. For me it doesn't hold up though, because the rest of them are out of order lol.

Yes, the panting at the end of N/S is them clowning Han as usual. They still do it sometimes, but during a certain period, they did it a LOT. And this was that period.
If/when you relisten to N/S, keep an ear out for I.N's moaning near the end. Unfortunately, you were commenting during that bit this time, so I think it was missed, but it's one of the most hilariously iconic parts of this song, so it's worth making sure you get to hear it eventually. "How did Chan convince him to do that in a studio in front of witnesses?" is an ongoing fandom joke.
It's a small thing, but beyond all the obvious things to love about N/S, I've always liked that they wai at the very end. They were in Thailand, and I think that was a sweet gesture of respect.
Lee Know inherited WJ's "Red light, green light, swag. Bye or wassup, man" line in N/S, and his delivery always cracks me up. If/when you stream this on any audio streaming platform, you'll hear the ot8 version (every nine-member version that got an ot8 updates, which is virtually everything, now provides the ot8 version automatically; the original versions were removed, even if you access them through the old albums' listings). I envision his facial expression every time I hear the sass.
The F*ck-You-MAMA-2020 version of Victory Song is beyond epic. It was such a blatant middle finger to MAMA and their BS -- and it was a very clear declaration of intent for the upcoming Kingdom competition it heralded. It's so iconic that it's now been integrated into the version they perform during the concert tour, instead of the original. It gained...man, iirc, we were somewhere in the 30+ millions of views. And then mnet got hacked several months ago, and a lot of high-view-count videos from different groups were deleted. The most targeted group was SKZ, who had pretty much all of their most popular works wiped out. That includes not just Victory Song, but also things like the full version of God's Ddu-du Ddu-du and basically all other full versions of SKZ-only Kingdom performances. And mnet not only hasn't restored the videos or views -- they've never even acknowledged the hack of the deletions in the first place (they're called "msnake" and "msh1t" for valid reasons).
Anyway, you can no longer go watch the legitimate version of the performance. Luckily, a fan has a backup posted; it even includes the separate Triangular Fight stage (between SKZ, ATZ, and TBZ members) at the end. That video is here: th-cam.com/video/SsBtJSVdmhM/w-d-xo.html. And I do recommend watching it, as elements of it reappear in SKZ. Without this foundation knowledge, you won't understand things like Hyunjin's evolution into his MAMA 2021 performance, weaponry jokes in SKZ Code, and so forth.
The Victory Song Performance Video is obviously the representative video -- the de facto MV -- for this song. However, it doesn't include either an uninterrupted look at the awesome choreo...or all the members doing the choreo at all. Changbin and Seungmin were both injured at the time, particularly Seungmin, so even though both of them do solo shots and a few low-movement bits, neither is in the actual choreo stuff. There are only seven members in those bits. To see all nine, you'll need the dance practice, and it _is_ worth seeing eventually. It will also show WJ and Felix's spin move (that "corkscrew") a bit better. You noticed the recurring elements about compasses and directions. This concept is integral to SKZ. You'll encounter it again. The lightstick is literally named Nachimbong because of this theme, it's that important to their origin. Nachimbong (more SKZ wordplay: "compass" [nachimban] + "rod" [bong]) contains "a compass without direction"/"directionless compass," tying this theme forever to SKZ. Continuation and progression of thematic elements like this and others is why it's easier to fully understand each album, each trilogy, and the overall discography when listening to each entire album in order. Without the chronological movement, a lot of the lyrical context and connection kinda gets lost. So as you go through things this first round and aren't listening to every song on every album in order, it might help to keep in mind that when you notice seemingly random little repeated elements like mentions of compasses/directions or time -- there's a very good chance it's not actually random, and that instead you're catching hints of the album and/or trilogy arc.
Ok, but "Time-asaurus" is pretty much spot on. It's Chronos (time/the god) + Kronosaurus (the Oceanic dinosaur). The original name of this song was "Time Beast" -- so literally, yeah, "Time-asaurus."

Yeah, you're already missing several vids (like My Side, Rock, some numbered Mixtapes, etc), so I'm actually curious along with the other commenter who asked what list you're using to find MVs. Obviously a few things are bound to get overlooked, and certainly that applies to stuff without videos, but this early in there have already been quite a few that don't seem to have been mentioned on whatever resource you're using, so it's possible that you have an inadequate list and we could provide you a more accurate one.
My Side and Rock were definitely missed. I know that 19 is around this era as well so we will get to that one. The Mixtapes we plan on putting in one reaction together. We had initially skipped those because #1 was missing and we didn't understand the names until you guy gave us more information 🥰. If you have a list or playlist we could match up with what we're using now we would love to see it!
