First I find WoodUBend... LOVE THAT
NOW... I See this Stunning Posh Chalk Pigment...
I am absolutely astound...
THIS has Changed my LIFE....
You already know that I'm moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA) to Re-Open my Acting Academy... and of course we always need PROPS...
I am in the mist of selling my home... and have lots of seriously OLD Worn Out Furniture....
and I think you know that I used to have (many years ago) my own Shop, where I used to Refurbish very nice Antiques... Like I told you I was a Furniture Snob... Never paint ANY furniture...
I still will not touch my good Antiques...
But NOW... from 1975 to 2024... I will paint my Old Worn Out Furniture... and Use WoodUBend and Decoupage... and NOW this beautiful paint called Posh Chalk Pigments....
I am so EXCITED to do this....
The ONLY thing that I'm upset with is... NOW I have to pay a lot of Money to Move all this old furniture to ABQ New Mexico... LOL Just Kidding...

I LOVE the crackle look under the beautiful decoupage paper, it's just gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the hardware on the dresser drawers because I don't like the big round wooden drawer knobs. But that's just my taste, and I probably feel that way because I used to have a chest of drawers with the same big drawer knobs and I never liked it 😅! I tend to prefer metal hardware. But otherwise, the piece was really cool.

This piece is beautiful!
But the different gold shades from the first layer ar hidden underneath the decoupage paper, isn't it? So it makes no sense to paint it all gold in the first step.....

The Posh Chalk Decoupage papers are slightly transparent so you can see the sparkly gold cracks in the light which was the look we were going for. It may be a good idea to do bigger cracks next time so they are more visible!

Is it possible to use this method and rip the "Uniqua Tissue Paper" and. "Zara Tissue Paper" as well?
