Have you ever wondered what is a Welsh Dresser? I have some answers for you, direct from my Welsh husband, who has wanted us to buy a Welsh dresser for years. Finally we bought one two years ago and we just love it. It is ideal for displaying your antique ironstone collections and all those lovely vintage transferware e.g. blue willow platters, plates and soup tureens, etc. If you love displaying your antique ironstone, blue willow, or other porcelain and china, a Welsh dresser is a great addition.

Hi there, no I don't think so, it really is about the style, the utility, the open plate racks with drawers underneath. We have another smaller one that is 3 shelves, same style, made in Wales (see my Ironstone display).
