The best thing about heavy rain is excellent waterfalls! I’ve hiked up the old man but missed the copper mines so this was really interesting- thank you!
Joe, thanks for braving the elements for our entertainment. Great video and, despite the weather, some beautiful shots. Enjoyed the zoom shots, surely they were not done using an action camera ? Regards Kevin
Thank you so much Joe for sharing this amazing walk!! The waterfall view is spectacular! It makes you really think about how difficult a miner's life would have been. It is nice to see how nature takes over once man has left. All the best to you from Massachusetts!!😊🌲
Hi Joe. Loving your videos especially from the Lakes which are my go to areas for hiking. Ive just subscribed. Do you put the routes of your walks anywhere to access. Thanks
Yes some of them are available on www.walkinginthewild.co.uk I am in the process of making a downloadable GPX file to follow and many have maps which are being updated too

Same here until this day, been up the Old Man many times but never explored the mines so was really enjoyable!
Great video. The waterfalls look amazing.
A bad weather day in the hills is better than a sunny day in the city every time 👍🏻
Absolutely!!!
