I play on the perimeter and picked up some kawhi 2’s. I loved the quality and materials, but they were pretty stiff, so I almost regretted it, until they broke in, and now they are one of my favorites.

Didn’t realize at first but the strobel in the Zion 2 is the same as in the pg5 which feels amazing. Don’t really have the play style to match the shoe but that alone makes me consider it. Also great vid as always👍
Zion 2 is a near perfect basketball shoe for me playing the 2-guard position. Most hoop shoes nowadays simply lack the necessary support, these don't. Keep in mind that players like Curry and Kyrie wear orthotics or ankle braces and/or can get their feet custom-taped pre-game if they have any problem. Plus their game shoes are often amped-up versions of the ones you find in retail. Even though i wear barefoot shoes casually, i would NEVER play in low tops/minimalistic basketball shoes regardless of position - it's an itinerary to injury because Basketball is an stop-go-change-of-direction sport with lots of jumping .... And landing in chaotic situations. The Zion 2 i can even wear without my usual sport orthotic. +The roomy toebox accomodates toes better so one can actually USE them anatomically efficient (not jammed towards the middle of the shoe) while heel stays locked down 100%. Shame they didnt use some of the Jordan 36s upper for breathability and weight. Nevertheless i'm on the bandwagon here 👌🏀
Solid head a head battle! One of these will be a successor to my tired Drose6. It's hard to find new shoes to have such combination for ankle sprain support and boost.
