I will be watching for Karin Erlandsson’s book in English
Yay, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Thank you Natalie! I love the breadth and novelty of your recommendations. You always surprise me with books that are new to me and intriguing!
Oh thank you Barbara! It's always so heartening to hear they're helpful.
Thank you for the reccomendations! I will definitely be buying the Blue Yarn book when it comes out here next month. I'm a knitter so am always interested in books about yarn. The Patch Work book also sounds my sort of book. Will look out for that one too.
Fantastic! It seems Blue Yarn is coming out towards the end of November. I hope you enjoy both if you decide to pick them up.
Oooh you’re a knitter? The sweaters you wear now are more special if they’re hand knits. I’m very interested in the Swiss book on knitting you mentioned. I almost included In the Dream House in my mention of Fall books in my last video. It’s a book I still think about after 2 yrs. It may be one I reread. I m so glad I discovered your channel.
I am indeed! I have mostly gotten rid of knitted sweaters I haven't made myself over the years so I mainly wear handmade pieces. I agree - In the Dream House is definitely a book that sticks in memory. I wouldn't mind revisiting it too. Thank you! xx
Doctor Glas sounds like a me book, and I love the souns of the picturebooks.
Yay, hope you enjoy Katja!
New subscriber here. Fantasy is my genre of choice ...yet I've been wanting other things to read along side it. I am going to look into these recs as they each sound good! 👍
So happy you found these interesting/helpful! Do let me know if you have any fantasy recommendations, I still feel very new to the genre.
I love these recommendations! Thank you
So happy they were helpful!
i just ordered patch work and look forward to reading it.. thanks.
Fantastic! I hope you enjoy, I'm keen to revisit it soon.
Nature-related fantasy recommendation: Impossible Creatures by Katherine Rundell
Thank you for sharing, Lindy! I have added it to my list!
Any of Patricia A. McKillip's books, but especially The Book of Atrix Wolfe, The Farseer Trilogy, and Winter Rose.
Thank you so much for sharing, have noted these down!
