i grew up on the likes of Sabbath, Zep and Maiden - have to say this is a great cover, Atilla's voice is just great for this song, backing is great also - well done Powerwolf!!!
Kompliment! Fast so gut wie das Original. Wenn man die Jungs allerdings mal Live (Zeltfestival Mannheim 2019) gesehen hat weiß man was die wirklich drauf haben. Super! Hoffentlich gibs't bald mehr von POWERWOLF !!!
I thought when I saw the group that it would be death metal but I must say you guys did a great job with this song. I will be looking into your other songs now.
Like Rainbow...they had Stargazer. A beautiful song about the failure of religion. Headless Cross is also about the failure of religion. The song is based on a true story that happened in the Middle Ages while the pestilence was going through Europe. In a small village called Headless Cross, the people went to the hill of the headless cross where they prayed to God for help. No one survived.
What I like about this cover is that it pays respect to its source material, and yet makes enough little changes to make it memorable. E.g., I like the keyboard doubling the guitar at times.
power wolf did an excellent job of remix black sabbath song headless cross....I like it but black sabbath and Tony Martin version is better.......you know all I can say both I like......
I love that Powerwolf did this song; it's so much in their style and it's not a cliched Sabbath cover like Paranoid or Children of the Grave
The organ makes it more evil. Really nice cover of one of the best Black Sabbath songs ever
Love the organ!

I love the original Black Sabbath headless Cross and Tony Martin voice but this is... Amazing!! Great version!
I love this song it's so powerfull it makes me feel like a warrior :D
It's also loud and agressive, the perfect song for the way to school \m/
Me too! It speaks to me!
Outstanding Cover...the Headless Cross Album From Black Sabbath is very Underrated i think it is very nice.
I agree
An awesome tribute to Sabbath
Very powerful and good-rythmed cover. Respect!!!
Trust me to start wandering and coming across this classic fantastically played, superb,,,,,,,,, well done
Kompliment!
Very Cool,This Song Makes Me Feel Like Warrior,A Agressive Song,This Version Is (In My Opinion) Better Than The Original,Great Cover!
Let's stop debating wther this or the original is best. My main concern is that i need a new speaker ASAP! XD
Thanks for the brilliant rendition!

this is tempting i shall follow up on it
thxx
A good song I am delighted
I like how they added a organ to this
IronEddie13 they can't just leave Falk out of this :(
Great Sabbath song!! Powerwolf Rules!!!!
Wow, they really give Sabbath just that extra litlle touch... and i like it :3
That was damn good.
Possibly the almost perfect rendition. Great job.
very respectfully done
One of the most epic Powerwolf tracks after "When the moon shines red"
This is a very good cover. Vocals and all instruments are dead on.
Tony Martin
I don't think it's better than Black Sabbath version but I really like that one.
yeah the voice from tony martin makes this song what it is its an okay cover but the original is miles better.
Perfect!
Great Cover like all you're Songs! Sound it better wit an 1/2 or 1 Note deeper?
A good effort but you can’t beat what was already perfection
Best cover version ever , even better then the original .
Attilas voice is amazing .
Dag Einar Apeland not at all.
Not even close
Awesome cover!!
NOWAY TONY MARTIN VERSION STILL BEST
You can like both you know..
I hope its not a sin to say this but this cover is better than the original
What I like about this cover is that it pays respect to its source material, and yet makes enough little changes to make it memorable. E.g., I like the keyboard doubling the guitar at times.
I have to say this song did the original justice. In my opinion, I think this version is better, though.
Great version, but remember: Black Sabbath is often imitated but never surpassed.
near perfect :)
Nothing comes close to the original, but a good enough cover. But few vocalists can touch Tony Martin in his prime!
If you like this song, support the artist, go listen the original.
Black Sabbath Tony Martin ! 😈🙅💪 4ever
Cool cover. Headless Cross is the greatest Sabbath album! :)
Is the greatest album if you like the neocassical period of sabbath
But for my it's grat album
I wouldn't go as far as saying that it's their best, but I certainly find it to be their most underrated album
Would sound great at Butlins
I heard both versions... I´m sorry, but this cover sounds more epic than Black Sabbath´s original.
I totally agree with you.
I think that Powerwolf are giving a good try, but their version is pretty flat, and it misses the touch and the open sound of the Sabbath version.
I miss the keyboards screaming...
The tuned down-guitar of Iommi is missing a little....
All the covers I have heard by now didn't get closer to the original. Nobody beats Martin. He's legend.
Great version. But never better than the original.
Hamner stimme attila
The drums are not OK, something is missing, and the guitar is not tuned down, Not so powerful as Iommies, but I like it all the same.
I guess Cozy Powell's skills are difficult to replicate and top
This headless cross really comes down to a T
Νο way better than the original ...Tony Martin brings Dios Holy Diver to Shame
But here there is a bass player .... jokin great cover .... but Iommi is God
Nice cover... Need more bass tho 👍
power wolf did an excellent job of remix black sabbath song headless cross....I like it but black sabbath and Tony Martin version is better.......you know all I can say both I like......

this is okay but the original is MUCH better
omg *-*
This is Powerwolf's only good song. It's stupid for Powerwolf that it's a cover
You're crazy if you think this is their only good song lol
Meh.....should have left this song alone.
Better than original. Sabath vocalist just.... ain't doing this right.
smoke a pole
of course this cover is NOT better than the original lol
Let´s agree to disagree.
i agree, this cover is pure shit. even after 3 years
I think otherwise. But that is just my humble opinion. *Tips le fedora as I leave* G'night, gentlemen!
loouuni your opinion is false
@@loouuni Shit like you?
My favorite song
